Anyone remember this :
http://www.independent.co.uk/news/science/up-telescope-search-begins-for-giant-new-planet-2213119.html
Well that data should be nearing the end of it's analysis
I've contacted both of the guys at UoL mentioned in the article to ask them how it's going.
I'll post any reply here.
e2a :
This from JPL (WISE is the space telescope used to get the IR data) :
"For a collection of WISE images released to date, visit: http://wise.ssl.berkeley.edu/gallery_images.html
An introduction and quick guide to accessing the WISE all-sky archive for astronomers is online at: http://wise2.ipac.caltech.edu/docs/release/allsky/
Instructions for technically minded individuals wanting to try their hand at using the archive are at: http://wise.ssl.berkeley.edu/wise_image_service.html
For more information about WISE, visit: http://www.nasa.gov/wise"
