DAN BURISH – FRAUD – LIAR – HOAXER -STOLEN VALOR:

I have watched many videos of Burish and his supporters and have yet to believe anything that he has said. I have also been to the Eagles Disobey Site and read myriad things written on this site, including criticism of PC and Kerry and Bill. Dan Burisch claims are totally at odds with any experience I’ve had with almost 30 years of USAF, DoD, NSA, SAPs, and security of black and SAP programs. I would stake my life that he’s never been in the military, doesn’t have a PhD, has NEVER worked in a SAP or other type Black Program, and from what I can see he’s a pathological liar. He should know this because he claims a degree in psychologist. Dan Burish has copied all the lies that Robert Lazar told about UFOs and Area S-4. S-4 is a radar site and not a super secret under mountain UFO research center. I know of NO scientists, engineers, or expert military testimonial supporting his extensive BS. Ed Fouche

Dr. Dan Burish -
Area 51 Scientist???
A Total Fraud - Yes!

UFO stories don't get any wilder than this one. A Las Vegas man has developed a cult-like following around the world by claiming to have worked with a live extraterrestrial at Area 51.

The story told by Dan Burisch is a whopper, but can he prove any of it? George Knapp of the Eyewitness News I-Team has the story of Dr. Dan's alien adventure.

His name today is Dan Burisch. Before that it was Dan Catselas, and when Eyewitness News first ran into him, it was Dan Crain. "Doctor" Dan Crain, he says. But is he a doctor, and has he really been face to face with an alien in an underground lab?

This story has a little bit of everything, including a lot of unanswered questions. When Channel 8 produced a story in 1994 about this volunteer teacher at the Boys and Girls club, he was introduced as Dr. Dan Crain. At the time, Dan Crain, now known as Dan Burisch, was supposedly participating in the most secret program in existence. But the secret is now out. Burisch has a worldwide following -- websites a message boards, books, audiotapes and DVDs.

He has a publicist and a biographer, a high profile for a secret scientist. Burisch says he worked in an underground lab at S-4 near Area 51, the same place first made public by Bob Lazar. Inside he met an extraterrestrial named Jrod and they became pals. He also met angels in the lab and they spoke in Hebrew.

On Frenchman's Mountain, Burisch discovered the first seeds of life on earth. Who believes this stuff? His wife Deborah for one. She signed a sworn statement saying she too works for MJ-12, the secret government. Family friend Marcia McDowell, another alleged secret agent, supports the story too. It's grown more complex ever since we first heard some of it in 1990. It's more complex now.

There are photos of Burisch and his wife in military garb saluting each other. Neither ever served in the military. Intriguingly, they have a sticker on their windshield that allows access to Nellis AFB. Would a real government scientist be allowed to openly dribble out government secrets? We asked former army intelligence Colonel John Alexander.

"It's highly improbable," said Col. John Alexander, retired army intelligence. What about his PHD? Burisch says he earned his doctorate in 1990 at Stony Brook University in New York. The school says he was never a student there. Burisch says his records were erased. But at the time he supposedly earned his degree in New York, records show, he had a full time job in Las Vegas as a parole officer.

He now says he flew back and forth to the school on weekends. Ridiculous, the university says. He met his wife as a parole officer. She was there on drug charges. She's spent 12 years in the PBX department of the Mirage, but that's just a cover job.

We asked MGM Mirage if they know they have a secret agent working for them in a cover job. They do now. Marcia McDowell, another secret operative, who solicited our coverage a few times, is seen in a video as she uncovers a space probe on Frenchman's Mountain and then meticulously dissects it's sophisticated electrical tape and rubber tubing.

Someone else who believes Burisch is his mom, Dodie Crane, although she has some doubts too. "If my son is the biggest bull****er in the world, I want to know about it," said Dodie Crain, Dan's mom.

Like everyone else in this story, Dodie declined an on camera interview, but told us her son, whom she hasn't seen in 12 years, is telling the truth. She's written her own book about it.

For a final opinion on this story, we turned to a man who helped to inspire it and who supposedly was in the secret program with Burisch.

"This is the biggest bull***t story I have ever heard in my life. Anybody that actually believes this guy should be ashamed of themselves. I never worked at Tonopah. I never met this knucklehead," said Bob Lazar.

The sticker on the windshield is from Nellis. The United States Air Force says it's a low level sticker, easy to get, allowing access to the commissary, and that you can get one if you've had a relative in the military, as Deb Burisch has.

Also, Eyewitness News did talk to UNLV where Dan Burisch really did earn a B.A. in psychology. He's listed in the alumni guide as having that PHD from New York, but UNLV told us the alumni guide doesn't verify someone's post graduate credentials, so just because it says PHD in the guide means little.

Dan Burisch is a smart guy and this is an interesting story, which a lot of people seem to believe. We think it is sorely lacking in verifiable evidence. If any surfaces, we'd like to see it.

(Note from Ed: John Lear has posted he believes in Burish, but he believes in everything, including a million people living in the sun)

http://www.rense.com

Dan Burisch was mankind's last hope to save the planet and ET from a cosmic catastrophe...at least that's what he and his supporters would have you believe.
For those of you not familiar with Dan Burisch (aka Dan Crain), he claimed to be a Ph.D. microbiologist working on a top secret black ops project involving an alien named J-Rod. Burisch's story has been promoted by several people including Linda Howe, Bill Hamilton, and Ron Garner (former Reed UFO Fraud supporter) among others, as being authentic and verifiable. Others have had something to say about it for some time now and with the latest issue of UFO Magazine (see below image), another UFO fruitcake and his story has been sent packing down the dirt road that brought both here.

UFOWATCHDOG.COM originally began looking into Burisch's claims upon seeing UFO buff Ron Garner passing off a bogus photo being promoted as Burisch's alleged J-Rod alien and after hearing media entrepreneur Linda Howe on national radio say she didn't need to verify any of Burisch's credentials as Burisch's sincerity was proof enough...so much for 'investigative' journalism.

While Howe says she believes Dan Burisch is telling the truth simply based on his sincerity, it will take much more than substituting sincerity for hard proof to convince this website of Burisch's astounding claims. Such proof from Burisch or his supporters has fallen woefully short it is becoming all too clear that Burisch's tale is yet another work of UFO fantasy taken to the extreme.

" The 'Eagle' has crash-landed. It's just my opinion, but the name-changing, secret-spilling, tall-tale-telling UFO 'whistleblower' known as Dan Crain or Dan Burisch or the biologist-formerly-known-as-J-Rod's lab partner is a complete goofball. He is a manipulative, egocentric, phony-baloney goofball. You can quote me. " --George Knapp, investigative journalist. UFO Magazine

Burisch alleges he attended the State University of New York (SUNY) and completed a doctoral degree in 1989. He also claims the government funded his education. However, Burisch does not have a Ph.D. from SUNY and during the time he alleged to have been earning his Ph.D., he was employed as a parole officer with Nevada state where he met his current wife and alleged 'government handler' Deborah Burisch who was reportedly a parole/probation client. Does being a parole/probation client qualify you as a 'government' employee. Sure it does...if you're making twenty-three cents a day performing prison labor, I guess that would qualify.

UFOWATCHDOG.COM does not have any specifics regarding Deborah Burisch's alleged criminal history or if she was on parole or simple probation (there is a big difference between the two).

So here we have Dan Burisch working at a black ops facility in Nevada, earning a Ph.D. from a university in New York, and working as a parole officer in Las Vegas all at the same time. Indeed, Burisch was a busy bee. Burisch contradicts many of his claims with his 1991 resume that surfaced (see below image).

http://www.ufowatchdog.com/images/burishres1.jpg

No where listed is his supposed doctoral degree from SUNY. The explanation for this? Burisch's friend Marcia McDowell said Burisch really wasn't "employed" as most normal people think. McDowell alleges that Bursich doesn't receive payment for his services, but instead the government "takes care" of Burisch.

You would think that if Burisch was at the center of balancing such a major project, an unprecedented project involving an alleged alien and the fate of the world, that his supposed black ops employers would have taken far greater care to ensure the project was completed and would have taken care of any problems Burisch was having, financial or otherwise. Apparently, Burisch's financial stability wasn't of too much concern to his supposed black ops employers.

Jarred Schenke, a journalist from Atlanta, had been listening to Coast To Coast AM as Howe talked about the Burisch case. Schenke decided to do some checking and found a bankruptcy document filed by Burisch and his wife. This document reveals much about Burisch and his tale. Burisch's wife lists herself as a casion supervisor for the last 12 years in the 2002 bankruptcy filing, while Burisch lists himself as a "homemaker". The Burisch bankruptcy filing listed over $50,000 of debt - this included nearly $15,000 in student loans. Burisch alleged the government funded his education.

Linda Howe consistently referred to Dan Burisch as a doctor throughout her reporting on his story, that was until the bankruptcy filing and his resume came to light. Howe changed her tune and started throwing in the word 'alleged.'

" Details and documents in the bankruptcy illuminate a variety of inconsistencies in a story that seems to continuously evolve over time. " -- Journalist Jarred Schenke, UFO Magazine.

Burisch has alleged his wife was also employed by the same black ops program. Problem here is that Las Vegas investigative journalist George Knapp said that Burisch and his wife have worked doing security for a few casinos in Las Vegas. Burisch and his supporters claimed the employment by casinos was a cover for the two, as black ops did not want to leave paper trails or other evidence exposing their operations.

What further incriminates the Burisch tale as a work of rampant fiction is that this is not the first time Burisch has come forward with some sort of secret information.

Las Vegas investigative journalist George Knapp says Burisch contacted him in the late 1980s about a computer that incorporated biological neural tissue as a functioning system. Knapp investigated Burisch but could not find anyone at SUNY who knew Burisch and no records were found. Knapp did find a wealth of information on Burisch including Burisch's employment records while Burisch worked as a parole officer. Knapp also discovered Burisch worked as a security guard for a Las Vegas casino and was later terminated.

It would be easy to continue writing about Burisch, but at this point it would be a waste of time. Guess we should thank Burisch and his associates for bringing yet more ridicule to the UFO field and making it harder for those genuinely interested in and investigating UFOs. At the same time, I suppose we should also thank those so-called investigators who engaged in anything but common sense investigation and instead turned to belief, fantasy, sensationalism, and sincerity as evidence Burisch was who he claimed to be. The death of common sense in UFO investigation is nothing new, it just seems to reach new heights with every bogus case that is exposed...
Kudos to UFO Magazine for doing a fine job exposing Burisch.

" For Garner, Hamilton, Howe and any other persons who have lost their common sense: If this guy was real, how would the secret government allow him to go bankrupt in public court? If he had a "PhD", do you really believe there would be no record of it?...Do you really believe Burisch (or Crain) really invented a cure for cancer and it was suppressed? After all, according to investigative journalist George Knapp, Burisch (or was it Crain...geeze, I get confused!) did call a press conference at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas to announce his cure...when proven bogus, was tossed out of his department. Dan Burisch & Bill Hamilton Cyber stalk UFO Researcher

I am a television producer who has worked in the entertainment industry for years. I worked on a well known Sci-Fi series at the time of this meeting. I have an avid interest in UFO and this gets me introduced to many people in the UFO research field, as well as people on the fringe of the UFO field. A good friend of mine, who is a well known UFO researcher, introduced me to Dan Burisch, Bill Hamilton, and a woman claiming to be Dan Burisch's mother.

If anyone doesn't know who Dan Burisch (aka Dan Crain) is by now, he's a hoaxer who claims to hold a Ph.D. in microbiology. He claims to have worked in a black ops project that involved a grey alien called J-Rod. Burisch has been promoted by different people, among them, Ron Garner, Linda Moulton Howe, and Bill Hamilton.

When I took the meeting Burisch's promoter was Bill Hamilton. I didn't know Hamilton was involved. If I had known I would have pulled out of the meeting. I don't consider Bill Hamilton to be a trustworthy UFO researcher, based on claims he makes in his books and lectures. I couldn't see how Burisch could be legit if he had partnered with Hamilton.

I took the meeting and sat through a pitch that was not to be believed. Even if he were pitching me a Sci-Fi story, instead of the true story he claimed it to be, I would have passed on the project. Burisch's story has so many holes that it was obvious the pitch was based on fabricated material. These people wanted me to put up the money for a documentary on Burisch, with an initial upfront payment of $30,000.

I don't know why these people thought I was an idiot with deep pockets but the meeting had its entertainment value. I was getting a firsthand education on con artists at work. I can't say too much because I've turned over certain material to the authorities. I'll be making a docudrama about these characters, which is a side of these people I don't think the public has seen. I think it will be a big eye opener to what these characters are all about. I can't imagine how anyone could ever take Burisch's fantasy story seriously. There was no way I was going to lend my talent and connections to those characters deception of the public.

After the meeting I had a talk with my UFO researcher friend, who had arranged the meeting. I was very upset with him for setting me up with UFO hoaxers. This is when he revealed that he didn't know the person he was setting me up with was Burisch. The man was using a different name (Dan Crain) and he didn't know that Dan Crain was Dan Burisch. I washed my hands on that meeting and my UFO researcher friend said what he needed to say to Burisch and Hamilton.

This guy is supposed to be a member of MJ-12? It's almost laughable... There is just absolutely no way in hell... Alienscientist.com
http://www.alienscientist.com/forum/showthread.php?93-Dan-burish-%E2%80%93-fraud-%E2%80%93-liar-%E2%80%93-hoaxer-stolen-valor

Here is a list of the originally named MJ-12 Members:

Rear Adm. Roscoe H. Hillenkoetter: first CIA director
Dr. Vannevar Bush: chaired wartime Office of Scientific Research and Development and predecessor National Defense Research Committee; set up and chaired postwar Joint Research and Development Board (JRDB) and then the Research and Development Board (RDB); chaired NACA; President of Carnegie Institute, Washington D.C.
James Forrestal: Secretary of the Navy; first Secretary of Defense (replaced after his death on MJ-12 by Gen. Walter Bedell Smith, 2nd CIA director)
Gen. Nathan Twining: headed Air Materiel Command at Wright-Patterson AFB; Air Force Chief of Staff (1953–1957); Chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff (1957–1961)
Gen. Hoyt Vandenberg: Directed Central Intelligence Group (1946–1947); Air Force Chief of Staff (1948–1953)
Gen. Robert M. Montague: Guided missile expert; 1947 commander of Fort Bliss; headed nuclear Armed Forces Special Weapons Center, Sandia Base
Dr. Jerome Hunsaker: Aeronautical engineer, MIT; chaired NACA after Bush
Rear Adm. Sidney Souers: first director of Central Intelligence Group, first executive secretary of National Security Council (NSC)
Gordon Gray: Secretary of the Army; intelligence and national security expert; CIA psychological strategy board (1951–1953); Chairman of NSC 5412 Committee (1954–1958); National Security Advisor (1958–1961)
Dr. Donald Menzel: Astronomer, Harvard; cryptologist during war; security consultant to CIA and NSA
Dr. Detlev Bronk: Medical physicist; aviation physiologist; chair, National Academy of Sciences, National Research Council; president Johns Hopkins & Rockefeller University
Dr. Lloyd Berkner: Physicist; radio expert; executive secretary of Bush's JRDB

Notice any similarities between any of these people and Dan Burisch? Because I don't...

As for his presentation at CalTech, no Idea how he arranged that. But I've never seen a Ph.D. give a lecture anything like this, his presentation, style, everything looked like he was faking it instead of actually trying to present something legitimate. They start off at about 2 minutes into video 1 with a comment about Dan's willingness "to chuck an entire data set into the trash"? In science Data comes before theory, and the entire art of scientific experiment revolves around refining and perfecting the process for data collection and measurement. Any scientist who would "chuck an entire data set into the trash" because it didn't agree with their "outside the box" theories, is not a scientist...

Real scientists have immense respect for raw data, and they also pay keen attention to measurements and tend to do a much better job of labeling their axes, at 3:57 into the first video we see an image of which no scale is shown or explained, and both axes crudely labeled "Quartz Crystal", with no magnification or optical parameters associated with it. Then we see from the graphs presented by Dan in video 3 at around 1:50 which look like they were made in MS Paint, instead of Excel or any other mathematical modeling or graphing software that I am familiar with (Maple, Mathcad, Maxima, Mathematica, MatLab, etc.) definitely not taken from the original koonin and galperin 2003 publication.

Typically if scientists of Dan Burisch's alleged caliber were confronted with a new phenomenon, they would try all the conventionally accepted methods for analysis, and outline their experiments and methods in their presentation in order to give other scientists some sort of basis for understanding the phenomenon being discussed. Instead he just jumps to "we don't know what this is, please help us explain it", without having done any footwork of his own.

The only other thing I might add to this rough inspection on scientific grounds, is the issue of this Ganesh Particle (http://www.rense.com/general33/searcasdh.htm) which rense.com claims was being researched by Caltech, although it seems this is an error or a mistake. At the time of the web page's decree, there was research being done by a Subramanian, name Ganesh on the role of small but finite particle inertia on the microstructure of suspensions of heavy particles subjected to an external flow. From what I could find Ganesh was or is a Phd at, you guessed it, caltech, and that the Caltech’s Electronic Thesis and Dissertation (ETD) archive from October 1–31, 2002 had nothing to do with Dan Burisch or his alleged "Ganesh Particle".

On the topic of particle physics and micro-biology we are talking about a scale difference of 106 at LEAST! between the scale of a micro-organism to the size of a subatomic particle, which is small enough to have evaded all particle physicists for the past 50 odd years... The science to support such a claim that particle physics and microbiology is somehow related is laughable. There is no credible evidence for this "Ganesh Particle", or Dan Crain's alleged Ph.D. from SUNY... Sorry Dan, you can fool some of the people some of the time...
