Dear colleagues.
(you can find download links of Wendy’s album near the end of this message)
I am happy to announce that Wendy Connors’ important audio compilations 'Faded Discs' are finally available in public domain for every researcher and buff of UFO history.
After Wendy retired, her compilations were extremely hard to find and became very rare. It took me few years to locate them all – I had to contact different UFO stores world wide to find and buy every single album.
More about her project for those who were maybe not aware about Faded Discs so far:

Finally few days ago, researcher Isaac Koi was able to get permission from Roderick B. Dyke - archivist of the Archives for UFO Research – for albums to be released in public domain. Isaac requested me to upload albums from my archives and here they finally are. We decided to store them at archive.org which is a good place for storing historical material.

Those albums are true treasure for every researcher. This is a perfect example why archiving is so important. Keep and care about your personal archives. It will be important for the future generations.

Thanks for this great archive! "True treasure" doesn't begin to describe the importance of this all but irreplaceable information from researchers acclaimed and long passed.

Following links I found this from Isaac Koi:

LONG JOHN NEBEL's PARTY LINE BROADCASTS - WOR-NY Tracks 11 - 16
Long John Nebel was the first to bring the concept of Talk Radio to fruition. He had various guests and regulars who discussed many topics of interest. His program ran from 12:00 am to 5:30 am, six nights a week. He is known for the eccentricities of guests and provided a forum for both serious researchers of Ufology and the Contactees. Following his radio talk show, Nebel appeared on television in the 1960s and early 1970s with his talk format. Below is a selection of well-known Nebel programs dealing with the subject of UFOs and Ufology.

When I was a kid my family took a lot of motor trips, usually camping somewhere, and we always left around 2AM to get out of the city before the morning traffic. We always listened to the Long John Show, which was every bit as good as any description will tell you. My parents called the show Long John, we kids called it The Flying Saucers. His topic was not always UFOs and we were very disappointed if Long John was talking about something else. Most of the time it was about UFOs which was a hot topic in the media at the time. Because he had a lot of time to fill, Long John's interviews sometimes went on for hours, leading to really in depth discussions of the beliefs and experiences of the person being interviewed. What I remember most vividly were the contactees. Long John had all the famous contactees as guests, some of them repeatedly, usually the one's who had books to sell. He also had less known contactees. Some of them, even to my young ears, were crackpots and some were clearly crazy. The more plausible ones were either True Believers or perhaps the Real Deal. Long John was an old radio master interviewer who treated all of them respectfully. It was a great introduction to the subject for a listener and also a lesson in cautious Skepticism. It was great fun and I cherish the memory. I wonder how the old shows will seem when I listen to them now?

I've listened to a few "Faded Disks" interviews so far.
A treasure of information.

Kind of sad to hear the same old arguments I hear today. Have we really failed to improve public opinion much in the intervening years? I guess the same old arguments were new back then... just sounds so familar.

Kneecap?
No. NICAP.
