Hydrated rock with a total volume of water equal, or greater mass, than that of the surface oceans of our planet, is not to say that there are oceans on the Earth's interior. The mass media breeds an inarticulate and uneducated population. But they are able to still sell their advertising, so what the heck if the MSM says something stupid.

I don't watch main stream news so I am not sure if this has been mentioned, but this is not new, evidence for this hypothesis has been around for at least a couple of decades if not longer. Can't remember the source off hand but it seems it was something I read in a publication a USGS team member had on board a research vessel I was working on back in the 80's... Wish I could be more specific.
