Diary of Secrets: Marilyn Monroe and "Things from Outer Space."

http://i62.tinypic.com/zv3ddw.png

This article will reveal new evidence that a document leaked in 1992 which presented a link between Marilyn Monroe, JFK, MJ-12 and the Roswell recovery may well be authentic. Before we get to that though, it's worth reviewing both the circumstances surrounding Marilyn Monroe's death and the emergence and content of the leaked document in question.

Background.

On the 5th of August 1962 legendary Hollywood actress and sex symbol, Marilyn Monroe, was tragically pronounced dead at her home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, aged just 36. 1 Official reports said she had suffered a massive overdose of the drug Nembutal, a brand name for short acting barbiturate Pentobarbitone commonly used as a sedative. 2

The exact timeline of events that night remains unclear to this day, but there are several intriguing factors which point towards something far more sinister than a tragic suicide or accidental overdose.

Key witness housekeeper Eunice Murray changed her story several times and was evasive according to investigators. Private Doctor and phyciatrist Dr Greenson, who pronounced the death, waited several hours before calling police to the scene. Also, after being classified as a suicide the house was never declared a crime scene and so vital evidence may have been lost.

The first officer to arrive on the scene, Los Angeles Police Sergeant Jack Clemmons, was convinced that Marilyn Monoe had been murdered and later lost his job due to his convictions. He observed that the body looked unnaturally positioned, pill bottles were very neatly arranged and he could not find a drinking glass in the room. The bed looked very tidy and housekeeper Eunice Murray was washing sheets at 4:30 AM. 3

In his book; 'Goddess: The Secret Lives of Marilyn Monroe' author Anthony Summers provides evidence that then Attorney General Robert Kennedy and two other men were at the house that night looking for something that was of great concern. He spoke to technicians who were monitoring listening devices and described hearing a distressed Marilyn Monroe shouting before being subdued. He also relates an interview with Eunice Murray later in her life where she admitted to being part of a cover up which involved Robert Kennedy. 4
According to the Autopsy report there was no evidence of Nembutal capsules or the associated yellow dye in her stomach, nor were there any needle marks on her body. However, one puzzling anomaly was the appearance of a purplish inflamed area in her lower colon.5 According to former L.A. County prosecutor Dr John Miner this could be consistent with drugs administered via an enema. 6

The Diary and the Press Conference.

On Monday the 6th of August, While the Autopsy was in progress, former Deputy Coroner Lionel Grandison sent one of his drivers from the coroner's office to collect any information that would lead them to the next of kin, apparently staff returned to the office with a red book or diary. 7 Grandison recalls seeing the book and briefly reading some of it's contents before placing it in the safe at the Coroner's office. According to Grandison the dairy was locked in the safe on Monday night but was mysteriously missing the following morning.

Marilyn's close friend and fellow actress Jeanne Carmen claims that she received a phone call on Saturday August the 4th during which she (Marilyn) complained about the Kennedy brothers and stated that she intended to host a press conference the following Monday, 8 presumably to reveal the contents of her 'little red book'.

The leaked CIA Document.

The so called 'Marilyn document' was leaked to California based researcher Timothy Copper in 1992 from a source thought to be a former CIA archivist. 9 He would continue to receive hundreds of pages of documents from several independent sources during the years that followed. 10 The 'Marilyn' document itself didn't see the light of day until it was published by Steven Greer in his book "Extraterrestrial Contact The Evidence and Implications" in 1994. Interestingly, Greer claims to have received the document from "a contact with access to NSA officials." 11 The following year L.A. based private detective and author of three books on the death of Marilyn Monroe, Milo Speriglio, presented the document at a press conference. He admitted that he was initially very sceptical but further research and investigation lead him to believe that it might be genuine. 12

The full text of this potentially historic document is reproduced below for ease of reading, the raw document itself can be downloaded via references in the footnote to this article.

THIS IS UNEVALUATED INFORMATION SOURCE GRADINGS ARE DEFINITIVE APPRAISAL OF CONTENT IS TENTATIVE

SOURCE: Wiretap of telephone conversation between reporter Dorothy Kilgallen and her close friend, Howard Rothberg (A); from wiretap of telephone conversation of Marilyn Monroe and Attorney General Robert Kennedy (B). Appraisal of Content: Redacted.

1. Rothberg discussed the apparent comeback of subject with Kilgallen and the break up with the Kennedys. Rothberg told Kilgallen that she was attending Hollywood parties hosted by the "inner circle" among Hollywood's elite and was becoming the talk of the town again. Rothberg indicated in so many words, that she had secrets to tell, no doubt arising from her trists with the President and the Attorney General. One such "secret" mentions the visit by the President at a secret air base for the purpose of inspecting things from outer space. Kilgallen replied that she knew what might be the source of visit. In the mid-fifties Kilgallen learned of secret effort by US and UK governments to identify the origins of crashed spacecraft and dead bodies, from a British government official. Kilgallen believed the story may have come from the New Mexico story in the late forties. Kilgallen said that if the story is true, it would cause terrible embarrassment for Jack and his plans to have NASA put men on the moon.

2. Subject repeatedly called the Attorney General and complained about the way she was being ignored by the President and his brother.

3. Subject threatened to hold a press conference and would tell all.

4. Subject made reference to "bases" in Cuba and knew of the President's plan to kill Castro.

5. Subject made reference to her "diary of secrets" and what the newspapers would do with such disclosures.

Diary of Secrets: Marilyn Monroe and "Things from Outer Space."

Continued:

Before we turn to the new information is is worth taking a closer look at the content of this document in an attempt to asses it's credibility.

The first point of interest is the date, 3rd August 1962, less than two day before Marilyn Monroe was pronounced dead.

Many readers will have noted that Project MOON DUST is listed as a reference in the document. Well know within the UFO field, it was a USAF project officially concerned with the recovery and exploitation of foreign space debris. Many researchers suspect that MOON DUST may also have been tasked with the recovery of UFO related artifacts. 13

We have already established earlier in this article that, prior to her death, Marilyn had told friends that she intended to hold a press conference in order to reveal the contents of her 'little red book' or as the document itself puts it "diary of secrets". There have been questions over whether Marilyn kept a diary but the testimony from Lionel Grandison makes it very clear that she did.

It is now well known that she had relationships with both JFK and his brother, she was known to have frequented parties at the house of Peter Lawford, JFK's brother in law, and met the Kennedys there. In fact just a few months ago rumours of a 'sex tape' depicting Marilyn and the two brothers emerged. 14

Her second husband, playwright Arthur Miller, was considered to be a communist sympathizer by the FBI and it may have been during this time that she first drew government attention. Add to this her love affairs with then President of the United States and Atourney General and it should come as no surprise that Marilyn Monroe was under extensive surveillance, a fact that is made very clear by reading her heavily redacted FBI file. 15

In his book 'Cosmic Crashes' Nick Redfern writes that journalist Dorothy Kilgallen was also a subject of considerable interest to the US government and in fact was being closely monitored by both the FBI and CIA. She was very well connected at the time and had a reputation for gathering what may have been considered sensitive information. 16 Furthermore, she published an article in 1955 which contained the following:

"British scientists and airmen, after examining the wreckage of one mysterious flying ship, are convinced these strange aerial objects are not optical illusions or Soviet inventions, but are flying saucers which originate on another planet. The source of my information is a British official of Cabinet rank who prefers to remain unidentified. 'We believe, on the basis of our inquiry thus far, that the saucers were staffed by small men—probably under four feet tall. It's frightening, but there is no denying the flying saucers come from another planet." 17

As an aside it is worth mentioning that, according to Gordon Creighton a former British Intelligence Officer and editor of Flying Saucer review, Dorothy Kilgallen's cabinet level source for the information above was none other than Lord Louis Mountbatten. 18

Perhaps even more significantly, Kilgallen herself was also found dead following an apparent overdose of barbiturates and alcohol in 1965. At that time she was heavily involved in an investigation into the JFK assassination. It should be noted that JFK, RFK, Dorothy Kilgallen and Marilyn Monroe all died under circumstances that might be considered suspicious.

At the very bottom of the page we have a distribution list which references 54-12/MJ-12 and a rare signature from James Jesus Angleton, at that time chief of Counter Intelligence staff for the CIA.

It's also interesting to note that some sections of the document have been blacked out or redacted, indicating some form of unofficial declassification had been carried out prior to the leak. This has been seen before with other leaked MJ-12 documents.

As we can see the content of this controversial questioned document from 1962 is entirely consistent with facts and information readily available today.

The CIA's Electronic Reading Room.

During the process of researching this article I spent several hours at the CIA's electronic reading room looking at documents from the 1960s, in an attempt to find examples of similar typeface to that seen in our questioned document and searching for examples of James Angleton's signature. Of the numerous documents authored by Angleton however, all had his signature redacted. What I did find came as something of a surprise.

I discovered a CIA Information Report dated 18th March, 1963 with the subject heading: "Projected Soviet Space Launchings" which was declassified on the 16th of July 2011. 19 This authentic CIA information report is an almost perfect match in style and presentation for the leaked 'Marilyn document'.

In fact a close comparison gleans some important new facts. Firstly, we can now see that both documents use the exact same form letter or template information report. Presumably the author would have a stack of these 'blank' forms which would be placed into a typewriter to add the relevant information before classification and distribution. We can also see that both documents contain the same secondary typeface, which is in fact Courier type commonly used on IBM typewriters in the 1960s. 20

The following image should serve to highlight key parallels:

http://i58.tinypic.com/mhav0w.png

Can we now say with reasonable certainty that the document leaked to Timothy Copper in 1992 is in fact a Top Secret CIA Information Report? Would it be possible to fake such a document without access to the CIA's classified archives where presumably large quantities of these Information reports remain classified today? Is it possible that this very document caused Robert Kennedy and two other men to visit the Monroe residence on the 4th August 1962, perhaps in an attempt to retrieve her diary?

If we accept that the leaked 'Marilyn document' is authentic then we have to consider the implications:

- Marilyn Monroe may have been murdered to protect secrets contained in her 'little red book'.
- JFK was briefed on the Roswell recovery and had the opportunity to inspect the remains.
- At one time the USAF had in it's possession actual ET artifacts and Non-human cadavers.
- Project MOON DUST was indeed involved in the recovery of UFO related debris.
- MJ-12 was at one time a genuine organisation and existed under that name at least until 1962.

One documentary on the topic; 'Marilyn Monroe - The Ultimate Investigation Into A Suspicious Death' contains a fascinating interview with former LAPD Intelligence Officer Mike Rothmiller. He relates reading a "CIA intelligence report, describing Monroe's conversation with Kennedy", which revealed "a phenomenal event which could literally... potentially, change the world." He expressed how it became clear to him that the information revealed would be "a good enough reason to kill somebody." Yet tantalisingly he does not reveal the content of the document in question. Given what we now know it seems highly likely that he read the very same document that was leaked to Timothy Copper in 1992 and is the subject of this article. 21

Hopefully one day soon the rest of humanity will be given the chance to inspect the very same "things from outer space" that former President, John Fitzgerald Kennedy apparently described to Marilyn Monroe more than 50 years ago. Surely at least some this historic material should be reviewed by the worlds scientist instead of being locked up in secret vaults and black project?

Perhaps, as some researchers have suggested, there is a plan underway to slowly introduce such concepts and material to the masses via a gradual process involving the intentional leak of classified documents?

Brilliant, Lee!

There are quite a few smoking guns out there when it comes to the deaths of the Kenndedy's, Marilyn Monroe and Dorothy Kilgallen, especially when it comes to the potential links to discussions regarding Project Moon Dust, Roswell and other secrets that JFK may have divulged to MM during pillow talk.

Thanks for the feedback guys! Victor is very kind to stream this for us, no replies as of yet.

I'd still like to see examples of James Jesus Angleton's signature if anybody comes across one. Thinking about maybe sending a FOIA to the CIA as well, no doubt it's been done before and the Marilyn document is hiding in the same vault as Chase Brandon's Roswell box, but if you don't ask... :biggrin2:

Dr Michael Salla of The Exopolitics Institute has just posted an article about this thread:

"New evidence emerges that Monroe planned to reveal JFK saw crashed UFOs

Comparison of Monroe Wiretap document with declassified CIA Information Report. Source: Outpost Forum

New evidence has just been released supporting the authenticity of a leaked CIA document allegedly of wiretaps of Marilyn Monroe and her friends shortly before her suspicious death on August 4, 1962. The wiretap document revealed that Monroe was planning to give a press conference about what President Kennedy had told her of a visit to an undisclosed Air Force facility where he saw the debris of a crashed UFO. The Monroe wiretap document was first leaked in 1992 to a UFO researcher, and was made public in 1994. It has not been confirmed by the CIA to be genuine, and remains open to dispute. The new evidence that was revealed yesterday shows that the leaked document conforms closely to a standard classified Information Report form used by the CIA in 1963. Either someone broke the law by forging or using a standard CIA Information Report form for classified reports at the time of Monroe’s death, or the Monroe wiretap document was indeed a classified report about a wiretap of Monroe and her friends.

This is what the alleged CIA wiretap document, dated August 3, 1962, had to say about Monroe’s knowledge of Kennedy and UFOs:
“Rothberg indicated in so many words, that she [Monroe] had secrets to tell, no doubt arising from her trists [sic] with the President and the Attorney General. One such “secret” mentions the visit by the President at a secret air base for the purpose of inspecting things from outer space. 2. Subject repeatedly called the Attorney General and complained about the way she was being ignored by the President and his brother. 3. Subject threatened to hold a press conference and would tell all.”

The discoverer of the CIA intelligence report is Lee Nicholson from the Outpost Forum. In his April 14 forum post he described what he found after visiting the CIA’s electronic reading room:"

We have also received a comment and some confirmation from Robert Morningstar, whose own research on this Marilyn/JFK wiretap document goes back some fifteen years:

Congratulations on a great article. The key to verifying the authenticity and accuracy of your article is to be found in the FBI Memo on MM's murder.

Both JFK & UFO (so-called/self-styled) experts try to debunk the memo, criticizing the appearance of Gen. Schulgen's name in the "cc" field, asking "Why would the FBI be sharing information with the USAF.

Here is the KEY element that confirms that the memo is true:

In the Blue Book Archives, more than 15 years ago, I found a CIA memo detailing how General James Schulgen [Admin note:In a later email Morningstar corrects himself :"His name is George F. Schulgen, USAF"]

fhad been appointed to be UFO Liaison Officer to the FBI. The FBI had greater nationwide access to UFO reports from individuals and police departments, and the USA wanted the FBI to feed those reports back to them.
,
Technically, this was not legal, but after long negotiations with Hoover, with Schulgen citing the need for secrecy in National Security Issues, Hoover relented and an "MOU" <Memorandum of Understanding> between the FBI and the US Air Force was signed appointing General Schulgen as liaison between USAF & FBI to receive directly from the FBI any and all reports or references of to UFOs <flying saucers> sightings, and more importantly, any reports of contacts between Americans and aliens manning the UFOs.

So, when the FBI overheard MM & Dorothy Kilgallen discussing UFOs, "General Schulgen had to be 'kept in the loop.

Best regards,

Robert M*

More to come. Today, April 16, 2014, Robert Morningstar emails to say he will search for further confirmation he has seen in the form of:

the BB-CIA letter citing same story. CIA letter indicates that the USAF-FBI liaison MOU was "found out" by CIA, and not divulged to them. CIA was "in house" spying on the FBI & USAF with regards to UFOs.

Robert Morningstar is currently having some computer woes but as soon as he is able, he will attempt to retrieve the supporting document and forward it to The OutPost Forum.

Thanks to both Doc and Robert Morningstar for the info on Schulgen.

The Shulgen text isn't visible in the document versions I have but I found one online, along with additional background:

"The UFO connection becomes all the more compelling with the discovery, described in Burleson's UFOs and the Murder of Marilyn Monroe, of an imprint to the left of the "TOP SECRET" stamp near the top of the document; the imprint, when Burleson enhanced it by computer imaging techniques, turns out to contain the name of Brigadier General George Shulgen, who was formerly the chief UFO investigation-coordinator for the U.S. Air Force. (The imprint also refers to General Schulgen's Intelligence Collection Memorandum, a document known to have existed.) This imprint or "bleed-in," however it came to be on a CIA document about Marilyn Monroe, makes a clear connection between her murder and the question of UFO secrecy, as someone, somewhere at some time, evidently thought it logical to archive the documents together. When all the evidence is considered, the case becomes very strong that government people murdered Marilyn because of what she knew about the UFO coverup"

It is evident even back in those times how the media was manipulating the news/public. One may notice no mention of her affairs with the Kennedys!

The text referring to Schulgen above is actually a bit of a puzzle to me. It's clearly not part of the original document, yet I don't find the idea of a bleed through to be convincing. If the two pages were face to face the ink could bleed, but the text would be reversed. If they were back to back it seems unlikely that the ink would bleed right through the paper and onto another page. So the most likely scenario I can come up with is that the text was already on the page before the photocopy took place. Anybody else got a better explanation?

The actual Schugen collection memo can be downloaded at - http://www.roswellfiles.com/pdf/TheRealSchulgenMemo.pdf Although the text doesn't match, so we must be seeing a different document.

It's also worth looking at the following page which shows that there are two versions of the Schulgen memo, one is slightly altered and was leaked to Bill Moore in 1987 the other was declassified. It is thought that the altered version is fake, but it could in fact be an earlier draft. Read the report from Robert Todd at - http://www.roswellfiles.com/FOIA/SchulgenMemo.htm

Lee, he lost me right about here: "perhaps the most fantastically absurd book ever published on the Roswell non-event". This is hard work, often done at the expense of the investigator/authors and deserves something better than an offhand swipe like that. He goes into a great amount of painstaking detail about the documents which I admire but some of his examples of "fake" could easily represent normal variations and some of the "cut and past" accusations lack visual support, leaving me skeptical about the whole piece. I'll send that link to Robert Mornginstar and see if he has an opinion of the accuracy of the article.

Lee
04-23-2014, 10:11 AM
I had a similar reaction to that article, Doc. The two versions of the Schulgen memo are too similar for one to be "fake", I'm much more inclined to accept Bill Moore's suggestion that the leaked version was an earlier draft that went a little bit to far for comfort and so was revised.

It's actually a common pattern with sceptical MJ-12 reasearchers. They generally do not accept the ETH and so dismiss Roswell and other circumstantial evidence that supports a physical ET presence.

The FBI’s October 1947 “Flying Disk” Memo

Regarding General George F. Schulgen’s Report:

“Intelligence Requirements on Flying Saucer Type Aircraft”

By Robert D. Morningstar

On October 30th, 1947, Brigadier General George F. Schulgen, Chief Air Intelligence Requirements Division, Office of Assistant Air Staff-2 wrote an extensive directive on Flying Saucer type aircraft sightings for wide distribution throughout US Air Force bases around the world, outlining in detail the intelligence needs of the USAF entitled:

“Intelligence Requirements on Flying Saucer type Aircraft”

On October 7th, 1947 the following FBI report was written and submitted by S.A. EG. Fitch to David .M. Ladd (Assistant Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation,) recounting General Schulgen’s views on “Flying Disks” and the intelligence requirements of the US Air Force.
It is clear from General Schulgen’s October 30, 1947 assessment of the situation, primarily directed to the immediate attention of the Planning and Collections Branch, the USAF was leaning toward and German-Russian origin to Flying Disks, citing the Horton VIII, the Horten IX and the Gotha Go-89229 and P-60 “Night Fighter” jet propelled aircraft..
Curiously, General Schulgen’s is what I would describe as a strictly “nuts and bolts” memorandum. No hint is given at all of the Roswell UFO Crash, with no mention of the recovery of the “lenticular” and “aerodyne” vehicle mentioned in the Twining Memos (White Hot & IPU CIG Reports on the Roswell UFO/alien bodies recovered, nor is there any mention of the presence of aliens or extraterrestrials.
As such, it may well be that this concentration on the search for mundane UFO explanations was the 2nd “USAF CIC (Counter Intelligence) UFO Cover Story” in USAF history, intended to distract attention from the Roswell Weather Balloon farce of July, which had not yet faded from public memory by Halloween, 1947. Americans still sensed that something “spooky” was going on with “Flying Saucers.”
The American public was not satisfied with the official denial of what was plainly flying before their eyes across the world and over the United States with impunity from coast to coast, from northwest to southeast. Flying Saucers were being seen around the world and the distribution list for General Schulgen’s “Intelligence Requirements on Flying Saucer Type Aircraft” shows how vast and global was the already known range of Flying Saucers, but who manufactured and was operating such amazing aerospace craft in 1947 was still a worldwide mystery.
For the time being, the Russians would provide a convenient suspect, as well as a credible “fall guy” to help cover-up the Alien Presence that was uncovered at Roswell. Below is the (partial) “Distribution list” of General Schulgen’s “Intelligence Requirements” of October 30th, 1947.
“Distribution to:
!. MA’s in England, France, Sweden, Finland, USSR, Turkey, Greece, Iran, China, Norway, Philippines and to the Commander-in-Chief, Far East *, and Commanding General of United States Air Forces in Europe, through Commanding General, EUCOM. (Stamped ) SECRET.”
· Editor’s Note:
Commander in Chief, Far East was General Douglas MacArthur
Below is a transcript of a report by SA E. G. Fitch to D. M. Ladd, Assistant Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, written in regard to General George F. Schulgen’s views and Air Force intelligence requirements on Flying Disks Revealing Secret UFO, revealing direct dealings and discussions at the highest levels between US Air Force General George F. Brigadier General George F. Schulgen, U.S.A.F.

---------------------------

Transcript of FBI’s October 1947 “Flying Disk” Memo TO: D. M. LADD
DATE: 7/10/47
FROM: E. G. Fitch
SUBJECT: FLYING DISKS
At request of Brigadier General George F. Schulgen, Chief of the Requirements Intelligence Branch of Army Air Corps Intelligence, Special Agent __ discussed the above captioned matter with him on July 9, 1947. General Schulgen indicated to __ that the Air Corps has taken the attitude that every effort must be undertaken in order to run down and ascertain whether or not the flying disks are a fact and, if so, to learn all about them. According to General Schulgen, the Air Corps Intelligence are utilizing all of their scientists in order to ascertain whether or not such a phenomenon could in fact occur. He stated that this research is being conducted with the thought that the flying objects might be a celestial phenomenon and with the view that they might be a foreign body mechanically devised and controlled.
General Schulgen also indicated to __ that all Air Corps installations have been alerted to run out each reported sighting to obtain all possible data to assist in this research project. In passing, General Schulgen stated that an Air Corps pilot who believed that he saw one of these objects was thoroughly interrogated by General Schulgen and scientists, as well as a psychologist, and the pilot was adamant in his claim that he saw a flying disk.
General Schulgen advised __ that the possibility exists that the first reported sightings of the so-called flying disks were fallacious and prompted by individuals seeking personal publicity, or were reported for political reasons. He stated that if this was so, subsequent sightings might be the result of a mass hysteria. He pointed out that the thought exists that the first reported sightings might have been by individuals of Communist sympathies with the view to causing hysteria and fear of a secret Russian weapon.
General Schulgen indicated to __ that he is desirous of having all the angles covered in this matter. He stated that reports of his scientists and findings of the various Air Corps installations will be available in his office. He advised that to complete the picture he desired the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in locating and questioning the individuals who first sighted the so-called flying disks in order to ascertain whether or not they are sincere in their statements that they saw these disks, or whether their statements were prompted by personal desire for publicity or political reasons. General Schulgen assured __ that there are no War Department or Navy Department research projects presently being conducted which could in any way be tied up with the flying disks. General Schulgen indicated to __ that if the Bureau would cooperate with him in this matter, he would offer all the facilities of his office as to results obtained in the effort to identify and run down this matter.
__ advised General Schulgen that his request would be made known to the Bureau and an answer made available to him as soon as possible.
__ also discussed this matter with __ of __ __ indicated that it was his attitude that inasmuch as it has been established that the flying disks are not the result of any Army or Navy experiments, the matter is of interest to the FBI. He stated that he was of the opinion that the Bureau, if at all possible, should accede to General Schulgen's request...
Shortly thereafter, a detailed directive (a preliminary “MOU”) went out from the top echelons of the Federal Bureau of Investigations in Washington, DC to FBI field offices around the nation.
Quote:
“You should investigate each instance, which is brought to your attention of a sighting of a flying disc in order to ascertain whether or not it is a bona fide sighting, an imaginary one or a prank. You should also bear in mind that individuals might report seeing flying discs for various reasons. It is conceivable that an individual might be desirous of seeking personal publicity, causing hysteria, or playing a prank.
The Bureau should be notified immediately by teletype of all reported sightings and the results of your inquiries. In instances where the report appears to have merit, the teletype should be followed by a letter to the Bureau containing in detail the results of your inquiries. The Army Air Forces have assured the Bureau complete cooperating in these matters and in any instances where they fail to make information available to you or make the recovered discs available for your examination, it should promptly be brought to the attention of the Bureau.
Any information you develop in connection with these discs should be promptly brought to the attention of the Army through your usual liaison channels. “

Twining Memo to Schulgen:
SUBJECT: AMC Opinion Concerning "Flying Discs"
TO: Commanding General
Army Air Force
Washington 25, D.C.
ATTENTION: Brig. General George Schulgen
AC/AS-2
1. As requested by AC/AS-2 there is presented below the considered opinion of this command concerning the so-called "Flying Discs." This opinion is based on interrogation report data furnished by AC/AS-2 and preliminary studies by personnel of T-2 and Aircraft Laboratory, Engineering Division T-3. This opinion was arrived at in a conference between personnel from the Air Institute of Technology, Intelligence T-2, Office, Chief of Engineering Division, and the Aircraft, Power Plant and Propeller Laboratories of Engineering Division T-3.
2. It is the opinion that:
a. The phenomenon is something real and not visionary or fictitious.
b. There are objects probably approximating the shape of a disc, of such appreciable size as to appear to be as large as man-made aircraft.
c. There is a possibility that some of the incidents may be caused by natural phenomena, such as meteors.
d. The reported operating characteristics such as extreme rates of climb, maneuverability (particularly in roll), and motion which must be considered evasive when sighted or contacted by friendly aircraft and radar, lend belief to the possibility that some of the objects are controlled either manually, automatically or remotely.
e. The apparent common description is as follows:-
(1) Metallic or light reflecting surface.
(2) Absence of trail, except in a few instances where the object apparently was operating under high performance conditions.
(3) Circular or elliptical in shape, flat on bottom and domed on top.
(4) Several reports of well kept formation flights varying from three to nine objects.
(5) Normally no associated sound, except in three instances a substantial rumbling roar was noted.
(6) Level flight speeds normally above 300 knots are estimated.
f. It is possible within the present U.S. knowledge -- provided extensive detailed development is undertaken -- to construct a piloted aircraft which has the general description of the object in sub- paragraph (e) above which would be capable of an approximate range of 7000 miles at subsonic speeds.
g. Any development in this country along the lines indicated would be extremely expensive, time consuming and at the considerable expense of current projects and therefore, if directed, should be set up independently of existing projects.
h. Due consideration must be given the following:-
(1) The possibility that these objects are of domestic origin - the product of some high security project not known to AC/AS-2 or this Command.
(2) The lack of physical evidence in the shape of crash recovered exhibits which would undeniably prove the existence of these subjects.
(3) The possibility that some foreign nation has a form of propulsion possibly nuclear, which is outside of our domestic knowledge.
3. It is recommended that:
a. Headquarters, Army Air Forces issue a directive assigning a priority, security classification and Code name for a detailed study of this matter to include the preparation of complete sets of all available and pertinent data which will then be made available to the Army, Navy, Atomic Energy Commission, JRDB, the Air Force Scientific Advisory Group, NACA, and the RAND and NEPA projects for comments and recommendations, with a preliminary report to be forwarded within 15 days of receipt of the data and a detailed report thereafter every 30 days as the investigation develops. A complete interchange of data should be affected.
4. Awaiting a specific directive AMC will continue the investigation within its current resources in order to more closely define the nature of the phenomenon. Detailed Essential Elements of Information will be formulated immediately for transmittal thru channels.

Cheers, Doc! Please thank Robert Morningstar for us too.

It does give a very interesting historical perspective of the phenomenon, as Bob says, very 'Nuts and Bolts'. Which is something researchers often seem to forget these days, especially the sceptics.

----------------------------------------

As an aside, I've filed an FOIA with the CIA for a copy of the Marilyn/wiretap Information Report. Unlike previous FOI requests I've filed, the response will be via post, so I definitely won't be holding my breath. ;) I'll share the response here if/when it arrives.

Robert Morningstar really has gone the extra mile to find resources to add to this discussion! The more I get to know the guy, the more there is to like about him. He's a good friend to The OutPost Forum and I'm happy to make sure our members and readers know it! Robert is the editor of UFO Digest (http://ufodigest.com) and has his own widely read email newsletter, similar to Victor's List.

Excerpt taken from the Twining Memo to Schulgen. When I read this, I had to stop for a moment and digest the significance of that one statement. Here we have two of the top Military personnel of that era, conversing on UFO's and saying this is something that is real and we should be concerned. WOW! I don't know what else to say but thanks to all who have contributed to this wonderful thread. Keep it coming:biggrin2:

There are 14 years of Jackie Kennedy's personal letters to an Irish priest, going to auction next month. According to some articles, some of the letters include her suspicions that JFK was cheating on her. I wonder if any of the letters mention Marilyn Monroe.

Thanks, Lily! Could make for some interesting reading. I wonderd if JFK shared any UFO related pillow talk with his wife, or maybe just his mistress...?

EXCLUSIVE - Bobby Kennedy ordered Marilyn Monroe's murder by lethal injection to prevent her from revealing her torrid affairs with RFK and JFK: New book sensationally claims to have finally solved the mystery surrounding her death

Investigative journalists Jay Margolis and Richard Buskin believe they they lay to rest any notion that Marilyn committed suicide, and reveal how they think the screen goddess really died
The Kennedy brothers were ‘passing her around like a football,' revealed brother-in-law, actor Peter Lawford, years after she died
Marilyn knew too much about the Kennedys and threatened to reveal everything

Bobby Kennedy did not act alone, the authors claim. Complicit in the murder was Lawford and Marilyn's shrink, who gave her the fatal dose of pentobarbitol
Before that, she was given an enema filled with broken-down Nembutals and seventeen chloral hydrates
When ambulance drivers found her in her Brentwood guest house, 'She was naked. She had no sheet, no blanket. There was no water glass. No alcohol…'

Very interesting article. I have the same info about drugs administered via enema in my article, as unlikely as it seems that's what the autopsy report strongly suggests. This might also explain why Eunice Murray was washing sheets at 4:00 am.

Same goes for RFK's involvement, he was there twice that day along with two other men and bugging techs heard a distressed MM being subdued by them right before she was discovered dead. Again, Eunice Murray confessed later in her life that she was involved in a cover up and named RFK.

I also came across the info about her physiatrist injecting her directly into the heart, but there is nothing in the autopsy to support that. Morticians state very strongly that there was no needle marks on her body.

It looks like the authors chose to reject the CIA wiretap document, which is a shame, because if it's genuine the finger would be pointed at MJ-12 and the UFO cover up rather than the CIA or directly at RFK, even though evidence shows that he was present. My thought is that he was there to calm her and attempt to retrieve the Diary.

A few weeks after posting this article we received a critical analysis of the Marilyn wiretap document from a well respected and knowlegeable individual who wishes to remain private. Four key points were raised which our contact felt cast doubt on the authenticity of this document. In the spirit of openness I would like to share and address these concerns which were as follows:

1. All CIA documents from that time frame contained a phrase on the bottom of the page which stated: "Automatically declassified by code xxxx on xx/xx/xxxx." This is noticeably absent on the Marilyn wiretap document.

2. The classification "Top Secret - Not for publication" never appeared on documents. It is a non sequitur. The ranking of a document as "Top Secret" is and of itself the actual highest ranking, higher even than any document containing other code names or phrases along with the Top Secret stamp.

3. The document is also missing a border color. It should have a blue stripe on it.

4. The CIA was not using typewriters in 1963. By that time everything that was typed came from either teletype machines or by early computers and printers.

On the face of it these are certainly legitimate concerns, which are worthy of discussion. So let's take a closer look and see if we can resolve these problems.

First of all there is the question of document control and routing information, clearly missing in our leaked document. However, if we compare it with declassified Information reports, (and I now have several of these), we can see routing information at the very bottom of each page. On the Marilyn wiretap we can also see that several sections have been redacted, which could possibly include the declassification controls. One thing we can say for sure is that our leaked document has been cropped both top and bottom, it does not contain the words "Information Report", this may have been done accidently or on purpose by the individual that leaked the document. Therefore it is entirely possible that routing and declassification information was cropped before it was posted to Tim Cooper.

It is also worth pointing out that some of the declassified Information Reports are also cropped at the bottom and one in particular does not contain any document dissemination or control information. - http://www.foia.cia.gov/sites/default/files/document_conversions/1700321/1958-12-11.pdf

Another possibility is that, like many declassified documents, the routing and declassification information was contained on a seperate sheet which was not included by the 'leaker'. I have checked with Tim Copper and he confirms that he only recieved one page.

The second concern regarding classification stamps again appears significant at first glance, but may in fact have a simple explanation. After reviewing hundreds of pages of declassified CIA documents I noticed that many pages contain multiple stamps, the following examples were observed within the CIA's 700 page "Family jewels" file:

CONFIDENTIAL
SECRET
SENSITIVE
TOP SECRET
EYES ONLY
SECRET/SENSITIVE
TOP SECRET/SENSITIVE
TOP SECRET/EYES ONLY
SECRET/EYES ONLY/SENSITIVE
FULL TEXT COPY - DO NOT RELEASE/SECRET
CIA INTERNAL USE ONLY
BY HAND

I was left with the impression that documents with multiple stamps had in fact been reviewed and downgraded, sometimes several times. I have yet to find an example of "NOT FOR PUBLICATION" on any declassified documents, but I did find "DO NOT RELEASE". It is my contention therefore that the Marilyn Wiretap was initially classified Top Secret but was later downgraded prior to leaking, at which time the second "NOT FOR PUBLICATION" stamp was added. It is also possible that this second stamp was added by the leaker for unknown reasons.

Here we can see a document with no less than four seperate security stamps:

http://i62.tinypic.com/j12c7q.png

The third concern of a missing blue border colour, could again be due to the fact that our leaked document has been cropped both top and bottom. We can see that declassified Information Reports also do not contain a blue border, obviously they are black and white photocopies, so the borders top and bottom may well be blue. It is my feeling that, again prior to leaking, Tim Cooper's source sanitized the document slightly, perhaps to protect himself and Tim or perhaps under orders. (Could the leak have been sanctioned in some way?)

Finally, we have the question of typeface origin. In my article I wrote that the documents was probably hand typed over a printed template, however this was just speculation on my part and with hindsight seems to have been inacurate. Whether the Marilyn wiretap document was hand typed or printed is really as moot point, as either way it is 100% consistent with declassified CIA Information Reports as can be seen from the following image:

http://i61.tinypic.com/5l49on.png

Here are direct links to serveral variations of declassified CIA Information Reports, (referenced as CIA/DP Information Reports at the CIA's electronic reading room), all entirely consistant with our leaked document. In fact those that match most closely tend to be from the same time frame:

http://www.foia.cia.gov/sites/default/files/document_conversions/1700321/1955-12-07b.pdf
http://www.foia.cia.gov/sites/default/files/document_conversions/1700321/1958-12-11.pdf

http://www.foia.cia.gov/sites/default/files/document_conversions/47/1982-05-13.pdf

The following image highlights most of the points covered in this update and also provides a visual comparison with a second authentic CIA Information Report:

http://i59.tinypic.com/2cy1x80.jpg

As peviously stated, I have filed a FOIA request with the CIA and will share their response here when it arrives. No doubt the CIA have previously received numerous requests relating to this document, but it is my hope that specifically asking for an Information Report might result in a more specific search.

I am still looking for examples of James Angleton's signature, every single document I have seen so far has his signature redacted. I did find reference to the fact that Angleton always signed his documents simply "James Angleton" just as we see on the Marilyn wiretap, this in itself adds some degree of credibility in my mind.

In closing, it is currently my personal opinion that the Marilyn wiretap document matches genuine declassified documents so closely that it could not have been faked without access to CIA archives. Clearly the Marilyn wiretap underwent some type of review prior to dissemination, hence the cropping of headers and blacked out or redacted areas. Strongly suggesting that either a semi-official declassification process occured, in the case of a sanctioned release. Or an extremely cautious and experienced archivist sanitized the documnent before it was passed to Tim Cooper in 1992, if the document was smuggled out and leaked without consent.

Michael Salla has very kindly wrote an article about my latest update:

"More CIA documents confirm validity of leaked Monroe JFK UFO document

On May 19, 2014 Lee Nicholson from the popular Outpost Forum, announced the results (http://www.theoutpostforum.com/tof/showthread.php?1647-Diary-of-Secrets-Marilyn-Monroe-and-quot-Things-from-Outer-Space-quot&p=32432&viewfull=1&fb_source=message#post32432)of a detailed analysis of more declassified documents from the CIA (http://www.examiner.com/topic/cia) electronic archives that help confirm the validity of a leaked document allegedly of a CIA wiretap of Marilyn Monroe (http://www.examiner.com/topic/marilyn-monroe) and her closest friends. Monroe had been under CIA surveillance due to her friendship with the Kennedy brothers and communist sympathizers up to the time of her mysterious death on August 5, 1962, two days after the Wiretap document. The Wiretap document (http://www.blackmesapress.com/MMCIA.JPG)is a summary of her recent phone conversations where she planned a “tell all” press conference revealing President Kennedy’s secrets and knowledge about a retrieved UFO at a USAF facility. In response to a critical analysis of his initial article (http://www.theoutpostforum.com/tof/showthread.php?1647-Diary-of-Secrets-Marilyn-Monroe-and-quot-Things-from-Outer-Space-quot&p=31670&viewfull=1#post31670)about his research at the CIA electronic archives, Nicholson analyzed further CIA documents that addressed the criticisms and published the results. His conclusion i (http://www.theoutpostforum.com/tof/showthread.php?1647-Diary-of-Secrets-Marilyn-Monroe-and-quot-Things-from-Outer-Space-quot&p=32432&viewfull=1&fb_source=message#post32432)s that the Wiretap document matches authentic CIA documents so closely “that it could not have been faked without access to CIA archives.” Consequently, the leaked wiretap document is either an authentic CIA document leaked to the public, or a document that was created by some with access to the CIA archives who likely had authorization to do so."

Finaly received a reply to my Freedom of Information request re: The 'Marilyn Wiretap' document.

Unfortunately, no documents were enclosed, just a letter with a "no records located" response. Disapointed but not surprised, I think vaults are regulary purged of this kind of thing and stored outside the system. I was hoping that specifically requesting an Information Report might yield some results, oh well.

Then there is this . . .

Retired CIA Agent Confesses on Deathbed: “I Killed Marilyn Monroe”

http://worldnewsdailyreport.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/marilyn.jpg

Norfolk, Virginia| A 78-year old retired officer of the CIA, Normand Hodges, has made a series of astonishing confessions since he was admitted at the Sentara General Hospital on Monday. He claims he committed 37 assassinations for the American government between 1959 and 1972, including the actress and model, Marilyn Monroe.

Mr. Hodges swears he remembers vividly, each of the assassinations he committed for the CIA. He claims that all 37 of the murders he committed on the American soil, were ordered by his commanding officer, Major James “Jimmy” Hayworth.

The elderly man claims he committed his assassinations between August 1959 and March 1972, at a time when he says “the CIA had its own agenda“. He says he was part of an operative cell of five members which carried out political assassinations across the country. Most of their victims were political activists, journalists and union leaders, but he also claims that he killed a few scientists and artists whose ideas represented a threat to the interests of the United States.
