No where on the website is there information as to what this object is. The lack of comment
makes me much more interested in this image. You can download a larger image file.

KKBut it IS a lensflare. Look at the image in full resolution. Without using photoshopping techniques to pull up the image from the background, it can barely be seen. It has no form and no shadowing. Using the Earth as a reference the Sun angle can be determined. Draw a straight line up to where the sun would be. Draw a line down to this artifact and it is perpendicular to the line one would draw. It IS a lens flare but very minimal and only seen because the image was enhanced to bring it out.

I made a youtube video of this image and someone replied to my video and said, "it still there :) it keeps getting in the shot and they keep killin the feed... lol".
I have a witness who says it was on live stream multiple times. ;)

You will not only see lens flare, but also refracted light, which causes a rainbow with the color red on the side of the light source (the same situation as in the posted photo).
