Reminds me of the many "Ferris Wheel" sightings over the years.
One in Brazil (http://www.alien-ufos.com/ufo-alien-discussions/42896-ferris-wheel-ufo-brazil.html) from 2011.
Another one in Southern England (http://beforeitsnews.com/paranormal/2013/05/the-giant-ferris-wheel-ufo-what-was-it-2451866.html) from 2007.

Cool beans! I live north of Houston. There have been lots of news reports about UFO's by the small-town televisions stations in this area during the last year.

Seems large in size.
Objective comparision is difficult because we do not have any way to figure how far away this is.Based on the average angles of the camera lens we can establish a ratio of size to distance. If it were five miles away it would be some size X, at 1 mile away it would be 1/5 as big. At 1000 feet away it would be again 1/5 smLler again. It's size is a presumption based on it's distance from the observer.

Go to Google search, pick images at the top, put in “led kites” in the search box, hit enter, then you be the judge.

While this one is not an image of a nightime kite, a daylight kite like this one would not be hard to add LEDs and a micro-controller to achieve the kind of object imaged in Houston. Again we have UFO observations that are nocturnal lights, and like all these kinds of sightings extraordinary evidence is required to pin down what the really are. LED kites are a particular problem and the give their perpetrators a vandals thrill, but they lack the kind of evidence that would make them truly extraordinary. (Thanks atmjjc!)

During a thunderstorm could rule out many drones.

During a thunderstorm could rule out many drones. Most kites are not for use in rain, gusty winds from varying directions makes them problematical as well. Looking at the photos more carefully leads me to think that the pictures show genuine UFOs, or the are CGI constructions.
