How unlucky was Jesus-

On Dec 16, 1954 three young men were driving home for a dinner party in San Carlos, Venezuela.... One of the men, Jesus Paz, asked the driver to stop by the side of the road so he could relieve himself.
Shortly after he stepped off the side of the road his friends heard him scream and, rushing to his aid, found Jesus unconscious on the ground, and a short distance away a hairy-looking little man was running toward a flat, shiny object which hovered a few feet off the ground. the object rose from the ground with a buzzing sound and disappeared into the sky. Jesus Paz was rushed to a hospital and treated for several long, deep scratches on his right side and along his spine.

Thanks for that interesting account, Luminari. Do you have a link for that?

Two things about the Villa Boas case that interested me were that he had to travel a great distance at his own expense to report the event. IIRC, he sold a shotgun for the bus ticket. The other thing was that he reported his sighting before there was any likelihood that he had heard of or read any other similar cases, which suggests that he was not influenced by known events or established story lines.

Hi I actually typed that by hand from an old book (Flying Saucer Occupants) by Coral and Jim Lorenzen - the APRO founders. I hope the other book by them I got recently is half as entertaining...

I had to laugh at that one, although the whole 1954 wave of landings and humanoid encounters. mostly in Europe and South America (hundreds of cases) is a deeply fascinating subject.

There were many more encounters with the little hairy spacemen by the way... and other witnesses named Jesus too- I was thinking of even writing an article with a title along the lines of "Jesus and the hairy space dwarves" :-) but thought maybe that wouldn't go down too well.

Yes. And he mentions things like the seamless construction of the craft, when he enters the door it closes behind him and Villas-Boas is impressed that it is not even possible to tell that a door had been there (nano-tech?), the disinfecting/decontaminant procedure etc; things that became commonly reported in many many other cases.

What's also interesting in my opinion Doc, and that many people are not aware of:

Antonio Villas-Boas had 2 UFO sightings in the days preceeding his Oct 15, 1957 'Abduction.'
The first was 10 days earlier on Oct 5 at 11pm... the second was around 9:30-10 pm on the 14th of Oct (the day before the big event) and was also witnessed by his brother. This second event was of substantial length, although neither reported missing time. It seems like they had been 'scoping out' Antonio in advance.

There were of course many earlier abductions (from Albert Coe in 1920! to Tujunga Canyon in 1953.. I could go on and on but I won't).
Importantly Villas-Boas was illiterate at the time of his encounters..

My mistake- that should say; ...driving home FROM a dinner party (not 'for') *typo*

That's it? That's what you guys can come up with? Haa.. lol ETH would be laughing and putting some wacky link up to someone being floated through a wall 18 stories up in a hotel in the middle of NY city... Heh..

Ok, so leave it to - Toon to come up with http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antonio_Villas_Boas And that is a good one.. hmm..

I find this one somewhat perplexing... http://ufos.about.com/od/bestufocasefiles/p/kelly.htm 1955-The Kelly, Kentucky Alien Invasion , did this family accidently ingest some sort of psychedelic drug??????? Bizarre~io for sure...

The cases I find most bizarre are:

Skinwalker Ranch http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Skinwalker_Ranch

Bentwaters RAF/Rendlesham Forest http://www.ufocasebook.com/Rendlesham.html

I think in both of these cases, there will be more information to come out.

A few years ago I met a woman who lived in Hopkisville Kentucky at the time of the Alien Invasion incident. She was in Kindergarten when it took place and had never heard of it. I was the first person she heard about it from and she looked at me as if she thought I might be crazy.
