Linda Moulton Howe's Earthfiles.com news posting ( https://www.earthfiles.com/ ) says, "In the January 5, 2015, YouTube first video posting without specific date or time, the video shows 43 seconds of the fireball's descent......."

The orb that departs the fireball is clearly unique. The vapor trail of the bolide seems to indicate that the meteor leaving it is rotating rapidly, which is also unique. If the orb were a UFO that was trying to redirect the landing point of the bolide, it would likely spin it up so that any new trajectory would hold and also increase the likelihood of it's breaking up in it's dissent. Unless this is yet another CGI, this could be an important event.

That was a fascinating video... Thing that gets me is that the orb looks like the object I observed and posted about here almost two years ago. Over time I've speculated about the object I observed and wondered if it might have been, or something related to, ball lightning.

I'll be looking forward to analysis of this video!

I am not in a position to assess this video in detail right now, really this is more in 11A’s expertise… but I notice there are several issues with the object. It does not appear to be a bolide (meteor) nor reentry debris, also it does not appear to be a contrail. Give me some time (unless 11A can do it) and I will see what I can find.

It is beyond dispute... the white objects in this video are CGI.

Looking at the examples of the other daylight videos I would have to say that I agree. The other examples had persistent vapor, or contrails from the bolide's passage. What look like the train rotating is most likely shorter video segments chained together to reduce the effort put into the making of the hoax. The orb is strictly CGI pasted onto the trail.

Bolide is a term related to meteors and meteorites. There is no consensus on the definition of a bolide, so there are specific definitions used by several groups. The trail of such an asteroid can be dusty, or vaporous. Such a trail if it condenses could be called a contrail, or vapor trail. It is unusual for a bolide not to land on the Earth as a meteorite and continue through the atmosphere and back into space.

Yup not surprised. As the old saying goes "If it looks to good to be true...."

Though I have see what I took to be a bolide that looked somewhat like this one while in Pleasanton California more than twenty years ago. It was lower on the horizon though, so much so that I had thought it had been an aircraft on fire, looked like orange flames though that could have been an effect of ambient light it being late evening. Heard no reports of any kind after about aircraft in distress.
