In a tweet today, John Podesta said that his biggest failure was again, not securing the disclosure of the UFO files.

By the way he wrote that, it made me think that he knows the files exist.

John Podesta makes mention of presidential libraries. Obama's term is not yet completed, he has time remaining.

It'd be great if Obama revealed the alien secrets, But I'm afraid he's got too much to lose. He knows that if he tried they could go after his wife and kids. And now that Hillary is a grandmother I'm not expecting anything from her either should she become president. For now I'm pinning most of my hopes on Biden that he may let something slip (either by accident or intentionally) or maybe he'll stumble across something.

John Podesta, former senior advisor to Barack Obama, former Chief of Staff to Bill Clinton, and future chair of Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign is offering some reflections on his most recent stint in the White House.

Podesta was out of the big-time politics game briefly early in the Bush years, and lent his considerable prestige to a coalition pushing the oddball cause of greater disclosure of federal information about UFOs

Soon afterwards, he founded the Center for American Progress which quickly emerged as a key pillar of center-left infrastructure in Washington. I worked for a while at CAP, and can testify that while there were a lot of in-house jokes about Podesta and UFOs (including an alien-themed holiday party one December) there was approximately zero institutional effort expended on the cause.

But in a personal capacity, Podesta continued to lend a hand. He participated in a couple of UFO-themed TV shows and wrote the forward to a book about UFOs that was published in 2010.

Then he went back to the White House where, once again, there was no progress on the UFO disclosure front. It's genuinely too bad. As a former Chief of Staff, Podesta presumably has had access to highly classified information and knows what he's talking about when he says the public deserves to know what's in these files. I hope — though I don't actually expect — that he'll use his influence in the emerging Clinton campaign to push this in a more serious way.

I've read some speculation that Podesta is leaving now to possibly run Hillary's campaign. Don't know if that's true since she hasn't announced her candidacy yet. If Podesta will be running it, he would have to keep quiet on UFOs so as not to ruin her chances.

Bryce Zabel has written a blog detailing why Podesta's tweet was not a joke.

Just got this email from Dr Greer...

The Story behind Dr. Greer's Obama Briefing

Obama's advisor Podesta's "biggest regret" was keeping the UFO issue secret.

Dr. Steven Greer is now confirming for the very first time that it was John Podesta to whom he provided the extensive briefing on UFOs shortly after President Obama took office in 2009 (click here for the cover letter to President Obama ). Dr. Greer states: " An attorney working with Mr. Podesta requested the briefing and we assembled an extensive file for Mr. Podesta to provide to the newly- elected President Obama. There was also support for this process from a senior CIA official who is friendly to Disclosure and the briefing was also provided to then-CIA Director Leon Panetta . Mr. Podesta came out publicly in support of Disclosure the year after the historic 2001 National Press Club Disclosure Project event (click here for National Press Club video) organized by Dr. Greer.

Dr. Greer continues, " We are encouraged that Mr. Podesta remains a stalwart supporter of Disclosure and we continue to advocate for the release of illegally classified information and technology related to UFOs. "

Fox News has picked up Podesta's tweet.

This has gone viral and, on the heels of John Greenewald's. Blue Book Files, UFOs are getting a lot of good press.

PRG executive director Stephen Bassett was on with George Noory for the first hour of Coast to Coast AM last night, February 16, to discuss the breaking news story about John Podesta.

Haven't had a chance to listen to it yet but might be interesting especially in light of Dr Greer's revelations.

Just listened to it. Steve Bassett seems convinced the whole thing is going to unravel in the next couple of years. He thinks Podesta, the Clintons and others involved in the Rockfeller Initiative are playing a delicate game pushing for disclosure as softly as the can. That is was Podesta's last tweet in office is very significant. Bassett also mentions it comes just 2 days after he left voice messages with I think 5 big committees and about 150 individuals on Capitol Hill mentioning the Laurence Rockfeller's Initiative.
That if the press get hold of the Rockerfeller slant all hell will break lose. He also stated that he thought Grant Cameron and Robert Hastings were the two pivotal researchers the whole UFOs and nukes connection has clear implications to National Security that should also get the press interested. If they delay he said Putin might beat them to it. I'm surprised he hasn't already.
