I believe you are right. We were visited much more often and earlier than known or admitted and this century we will see the proof come to light as the forces who have blocked newer finds go to their final reward.

Upper Michigan is known for UFO sightings, also the locations of many copper mines. Is there a link between the two?

So why mainstream science can't get away from this 15th century myth I don't know. No one is buying it anymore as science is clearly kicking down the door.
