To me this looks like an explosion in space! being an armchair researcher I have got it wrong in the past. So does anyone else have an opinion on this.

Well, let us consider what this might be, aside from the usual CGI considerations. It appears that we have an area where some white condensates show up and look like they are rising in the clear air. An explosion would have a central locus and radiate outward from there, so it is not a simple explosion if it were an explosion. The condensate to me appears to be cloudlike, water vapor or steam of some sort. This, if steam, would also explain it's rise if it were steam it would be hotter than the ambient air. If you look above nighttime thunderstorms the "sprites" have a similar dispersal. What I would suggest is a similar phenomenon of high energy discharge causing pockets of steam to be formed and rise from the humidity in the air, forming steam pockets and then rising as seen in this video. Were there thunderstorms in the area? This might be possibly a disturbance caused by a UFO of some sort.

The question most on my mind is what caused this person to be filming a video in this location and why. I do not go around and film areas of the sky randomly. CGI is I think the first consideration. If the witness is not likely to make a CGI then we need to consider this as a most strange, but otherwise natural phenomena, caused by perhaps a very strange event.

The original video appeared on the UFOvni YouTube channel, which is operated by known CGI hoaxer Eric Giavedoni.

Very hard to say what this is. Repetitive sightings kind of leads one to say Venus, but the image seems to have many orb like items around it too. Camera issues could help explain the larger problems of the composition and sreer us back to a more natural explanation. Again, we are confronted with minimal hard information.
