Well, it very certainly could be!!!! There are a number of things that provide much significant reason for thinking about maybe being ready for that event sometime this year.........!! These "reasons" do deserve some consideration in deliberation of this subject.

1. A Jewish Rabbi, Judah ben Samuel, made prophetic writings around AD 1200 relative to Jerusalem, and thus far his prophecies have come to pass specifically as he stated. According to his prophecies, "Jerusalem would be ruled by the Ottomans (Turks) for a period of 8 Jubilee periods (1 Jubilee period equals 50 years), then Jerusalem would become a no-man's land for 1 Jubilee period, and in the ninth jubilee it will once again come back into the possession of the Jewish nation – which would signify the beginning of the Messianic end time.”

If he’s right, the 10th Jubilee began in 1967 and will be concluded in 2017. The new Jewish new year and next Jubilee period will start during the Holy Day Feast times in September!!!!!!!!!!

2. Alignment of the sun, Moon, planets, and stars that seem to directly confirm Biblical Revelation 12 prophecies -

Revelation 12:1-2 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars, 2 And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.

According to many different video reports, such an alignment will occur in the heavens on September 23, 2017. Accordingly also, the reports say that this specific exact alignment has not occurred in the past 7,000 years. There are two star constellations involved in this, Virgo (the Virgin) and Leo (the Lion). And the Sun will be at her head, and the Moon will be at her feet, and Jupiter will be "in her womb". Also, the "Crown of 12 stars" will include an alignment and light of 3 other planets, which does bring the total crown star lights to 12.

Here is just one of the videos wherein the speaker goes through a presentation of these and other related matters that at least deal with the possibilities of the rapture of the Church, maybe in the relatively very near future. This is a very simple chart type presentation, with easily understood detail.

I did read an interesting book many years ago about the Rapture, and the aftermath. Memory fails me, but as I recall the author was quite noteworthy/prolific.
However, to my mind it read more like a work of fiction.

Hey calikid - certainly no disrespect taken! I appreciate your comments and questions. No, the word "Rapture" is not found in the Bible. Rather it is a descriptive word chosen that encompasses the thoughts of the many different scriptures that speak directly to Jesus coming to take away all who are his (the Church). On that day, a trumpet will sound over the Earth, the dead in Jesus will rise first, and then all Christians who are still alive will be caught up to meet Him in the air = ...The Rapture!!

My opinion you ask, "Biblical prophecy (chapter/verse?) or literary fictional element?" Well, as you likely would suspect, I do accept by faith all that is presented in the scriptures as being "the fact of God" for all of man, the recorded prophetic words that have come to pass, and the prophetic words whose fulfillment is still yet to come. For sure, from a purely human standpoint, one can begin reading a book called "The Bible", and see that action after action present crazy details about the crazy lives of different people, and how these crazy people are dealt with by some god-like figure...........the world and all that exists being spoken into existence, except Man being made with God's hands from the dust of the Earth, snakes in a garden, and a snake enticing people to do something they were told not to do, which then gave the world over to satan, and then there was a flood that destroyed all of man except Noah and his family, and on and on and on, with much prophecy about a Savior for man. And the "Savior" Jesus Christ was born........... probably does make great fiction for a lot of people - except the Word of God is the absolute truth for us now, and for eternity to come. :biggrin2:

Regarding chapter and verse scriptures that relate to the promise of an event termed Rapture - Some Bible verses about the "Rapture" (KJV)

I spent some time last night reading up on Rev. chapt 12 and those planetary alignments coming up. Interesting topic. Have not read your most recent post in this thread yet but will do that later on this evening.

PS... watched part of that video too and will resume watching the rest of it tonight.

Revelation 12 comes in two parts which I have not seen Scott Clarke or Robert Breaker talk about. The woman is out of the wilderness twice and she flees to the wilderness twice.

In the first section Virgo flees on foot to the wilderness while Michael (seen in Ophiuchus - the serpent wrangler) throws the serpent down to earth.

In the second section Virgo is back out of the wilderness and the Serpent, now on earth (Seen in Hydra to the right of Virgo) goes after her. This time she is given two wings to fly away and while escaping the dragon (Hydra) pours out water from his mouth. Both of these two signs are also in that section of the sky. I don't what the 9/23 sign means for sure, maybe the rapture, but it's got to be something because Revelation 12 isn't finished. There is still a second part to take place in the heavens. No ones talking about these other signs. I have tried to reach Scott Clarke and Robert Breaker but they are getting thousands of emails and letters.

(This is the same serpent-lion in Gilgamesh rendered incorrectly as a snake in English. It is a Mesopotamian creature of chaos that rules the abyss, which is exactly where it comes up from in Revelation 13...from the abyss. Much of Revelation goes back to very ancient things in Mesopotamia.

An astrological sign is very much like a wrist watch. The hour hand goes through every number on your watch twice every day. That hand is accompanied by the minute and hour hand on their own cycle. The numbers that each hand land on are insignificant. But when the minute hand lands on 12 and the hour hand on 5 work is over. Even that alignment is only significant 5days of each weak. On Sat/Sun this watch sign means nothing (hopefully). This is how the Rev 12 sign works as well. One hand lands on Virgo, the other on Leo, and another on her feet. However that combination simply forms the paper for the message to be written on. In many cases it forms with no message. Rev 12 simply forms the boundary for a message. When Jesus was born this combination was the paper in which the wandering stars wrote on. The magi were watching what Jupiter did in this constellation alignment and that is what informed them that a king was being born.

This sign works the same way. Clarke has looked over the next 7,000 years at the boundary of the Rev 12 alignment for anything significant. According to his search nothing significant happens for 7,000 years. The Rev 12 sign forms the boundary, or the paper the message is going to be written on. That "boundary" is regular, just like it was in 3 BC. But it doesn't always have a message in the wandering stars. In 3 BC it did have a message. Jupiter wrote out a message in it's passing through Regulus and Virgo, and it's simultaneous conjunction with Venus and Regulus forming the star of Bethlehem. Coming up again the boundary is back and for the first time in 2,000+ years a message is being written with Jupiter. This sign meets the same conditions of significance as the birth of Jesus.

Leo can also be counted as 15 stars too, however no count other than 9 stars will render Rev 12s crown of 12 stars when you look a the alignment that occurred during the sign of Jesus's birth. When Jesus was being born, in Leo there was Venus, Jupiter and Mercury. If Leo was anything but a 9 count Rev 12 would not render a crown of 12 stars.

This will also complete around the feast of the trumpets, known in Jewish Idioms as the "day no man knows". It is a two day event because no one knows the day. It is a day of many trumpet blasts, 100 iirc divided into groups and continues until the last trump.

Actually, the constellation Virgo had nothing to do with Jesus at the time the Book of Revelation was written (as early as the mid 60s AD and no later than 96AD).

The constellation wasn't even named and noted until the 2nd Century AD by the Greek astronomer, Ptolemy. Virgo was thought to be the goddess of justice, Dike. Since Virgo is next to Libra (the scales of justice), that makes a lot of sense.

With all due respect, my comment that you quoted was in reference to the planetary line-ups for Sept. 23rd. It includes the const. Virgo and const. Leo... and then there are those planetary line ups that make connections to those constellations on that day too.

At that time, Jupiter will be in the womb of Virgo... please view that vid for information on that. The vid posted by the OP of this thread.
This is not to say that I agree with the minister's interpretation of that astronomical line up eg the day of Rapture....

A Christian numerologist claims that the world will end next Saturday when a planet will, supposedly, collide with Earth.

So years back I recall having several conversations with our old friend ETH (Doug) and as much as he was against "date setting" he would tell me how this date in the far off future -Sept 23 2017 had his interest. And here it is...
Maybe just leaves falling from trees and football season. But no man shall know the day yet we are all encouraged to be "watchful".. :biggrin2:

Last month a reader shared with me that exactly 726 days transpire between the last of the four "Blood Moons", which was a supermoon visible over Jerusalem, and the Revelation 12 Sign on September 23rd.

It just so happens that Strong's 726 is harpazó, which is the Greek word for "rapture". It's the exact word used to describe the catching away of the saints in 1 Thessalonians 4:17 and Revelation 12:5. What are the chances of that?

Yesterday another amazing "coincidence" was discovered: September 23, 2017 has 726 minutes of daylight (see here). In fact, it is the only day in all of 2017 with 726 minutes of daylight. Even more - the first day of the Feast of Trumpets on September 21st has 730 minutes of daylight. Strong's 730 is arsén, which is the very word used to describe the corporate male child in Revelation 12:5 and the LXX version of Isaiah 66:7.

When you begin compiling all of these "coincidences" it starts to defy the laws of probability.

Next, I want to point your attention back to an article I wrote a few weeks ago in which I demonstrate that the Blood Moon tetrad wasn't for nothing. It was pointing to 9/23 all along. The first and third Blood Moons occurred in Virgo and the Sun was in Virgo during the second and fourth Blood Moons. Next week's Great American Eclipse occurs in Leo. Think about that for a minute. There are twelve constellations in the Mazzaroth and these eclipses were all pointing at the two specific constellations that compose next month's Revelation 12 Sign.

But that's not all. I derived what might be a message if you take these eclipses in order:

Blood Moon #1: All eyes were fixed on Virgo. 1,255 days until the Feast of Trumpets in 2017. Strong's 1255 is a proper name meaning "he has given a son".

Blood Moon #2: 1,079 days until the Feast of Trumpets in 2017 and 1,081 days until the Revelation 12 Sign. Strong's 1079 is genete, which means "birth" and Strong's 1081 is gennéma, which means "child" or "offspring".

Blood Moon #3: All eyes were again fixed on Virgo.

Blood Moon #4: 726 days until the Revelation 12 Sign. Strong's 726 is harpazó, which means "rapture".

Great American Eclipse: All eyes will be fixed on Leo. 31 days until the Feast of Trumpets and 33 days until the Revelation 12 Sign. Strong's 31 is aggelia, which means "a message" and Strong's 33 is age, which means "Come!"

Add in the additional layer of the length of daylight on the Feast of Trumpets and on September 23rd and look what message is formed:


He will give a son. Look at Virgo give birth to her offspring. Look at Virgo again. Look at Leo. A message: the rapture of the male child has come!


The message doesn't end there. From the year when Christ was crucified to 2017 is 1984 years. Strong's 1984 is episkopé, which means "visitation". It's the very word used by Christ to condemn Jerusalem for not realizing the timing of His first coming:

They will level you to the ground--you and the children within your walls. They will not leave one stone on another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation [episkopé] from God.

It is also used by Peter to describe the next coming of Christ and the context appears to be the rapture:

Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits [episkopé] us.
- 1 Peter 2:12


Skeptics will quickly chime in, questioning what Strong's Numbers have to do with anything. Trust me - I get it. They are not in Scripture and they don't rise to the level of Scripture. We're only speculating on meaning here and you have to take it with a grain of salt, but keep in mind that Strong's Numbers are the only system of fixed numbers assigned to biblical words (at least that I'm aware of).

So here is the question I want to pose to the skeptics, especially Christian skeptics: what kind of universe do we live in? Is it one where nothing has meaning, some things have meaning, or everything has meaning? I used to live my life believing some things have meaning and most things God gave over to probability, but as I've grown in my faith I've begun to see that we worship a truly sovereign God who has orchestrated all of creation in very precise fashion.

You have to be careful and choosy when researching things that are outside of Scripture, testing everything, but dismissing them out of hand seems foolish to me. God created all things - not just the Bible and you can find His fingerprints everywhere if you're willing and humble enough to look.
