In the news today, yet another mutilated Horse this time near Falmouth, Cornwall. That makes two horse cases in less than a week just here in the UK and three including the Kansas case. Again there are no images here, (yet) so pay attention to the facts:

"Horse mutilated and killed 'in awful attack', say police

Jan 10 2012

A HORSE has been mutilated and killed in what police called "an awful attack".

The attack in Stithians, near Falmouth in west Cornwall, saw the animal's genitals cut off, an eye cut out and its teeth removed.
Officers believe the animal, a two-year-old stallion called Eric, was attacked in a field some time between 4pm on Sunday and noon yesterday.

Eric's owner Dawn Allaway has been left distraught, her mother Vivien Allaway said.

"To lose him like this is total devastation for her," she told BBC Cornwall.

"It was like losing a baby, really."

A mare and a foal in the field at the time were left unharmed, Devon and Cornwall Police said.

They are warning people in rural areas to remain vigilant to anyone acting suspiciously and to contact them if they have any concerns.
Detective Inspector Tony Blatchford said: "This is one of the worst attacks I am aware of on a horse." read More: http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/uk-world-news/2012/01/10/horse-is-mutilated-and-killed-rspca-appeal-for-information-86908-23692892/

The article here includes an image of the dead Horse but it does not show the injuries, even so we can't see any blood on the ground anywhere in this picture:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2084685/Police-hunt-horse-killer-tortured-animal-cowardly-barbaric-attack.html

There are other pointers in this article, one eye missing, genitalia removed, teeth, which seems unsusal, I wonder if they meant teeth and jaw exposed? (Note that Police often give misinformation to the press in order to help distinguish genuine info.)

This one certainly looks a lot like the Sussex case from last year, and they both look a lot like the Kansas City Cow to me. I wonder the the Police leading these three current and very similar investigations will do their homework and go online looking for similar incidents? If they do they will have a shock.

Strange Harvest indeed!

And here is the News video:

http://www.itv.com/westcountry-west/

In this report the horse owner says that "they had smashed the teeth in" which does sound like an unsual detail. She also describes "pucture wounds".

Dear colleagues.

Audio Clipping: Community in Cornwall reacts to Horse Mutilation case:
Interviews with Police and the Owner
Audio Download link:

I worked hard on this for the last two days. Had to manully locate and extract audios from the complete show that lasted three hours. This is just a preliminary clipping to meet the needs of real time as much is possible.
Lee you are free to forward this too to a research that you are currently working on this.

There are more reports and interviews on this in others shows. I preliminary detected them, but there will be no time for me at the moment to process the whole batch. It will be done but in the future like with my other releases (Audios on the 8th batch of UK UFO documents release is still on the pending mode, but I will soon finalize that one).

In this audio from January 10th, you can hear comments from people and reaction from the whole community in Cornwall on the 2nd Horse Mutilation case. Police representative, representative of RCSPA and Vivien Allaway that owned horse Eric, were interviewed. Vivien gave graphic details about the state of the horse after they found him mutilated.

It was broadcast on BBC Cornwall within the show "Lunchtime with Laurence Reed". Host for that day was Martin Bailie. He was sitting for Laurence becauses he was not available that day.

Best Wishes and hope colleagues from UK will find audio material useful for additional leads and to further check does this case actually meets standards of "classic mutilation" case, or not.

Best Wishes.

I had always associate animal mutilations with cattle, is it unusual to see horses in case like this?

Well, yes and no. There is of course the famous 'Snippy' case. Horse cases are quite rare but certainly not unheard of, I strongly recommend watching the Silent Killers in Sussex documentary which details an on site investigation of a Horse mutilation from 2010, you can find it on this board.

The late Tony Dodd, David Cayton, Phil Hoyle and many other here in the uk have investigated cases involving many different types of animals with strange 'mutilation' type injuries. Examples include; Horses, Cows, Sheep, Foxes, Badgers, Owls, Mice and many other types of animals both wild and domestic. There are even cases of strange attacks in Zoos, in the book 'Killers on the Moor'.
