If you have seen a UFO, been abducted or contacted by entities, had experiences not of (or in) this world or just want to know what the heck is going on, then you are an Experiencer of this phenomenon. Join me to talk about it at a meeting of Experiencers United (http://www.meetup.com/ExperiencersUnited/)!

Meetings will be held on the 3rd or 4th Saturday of the month in Midtown Manhattan. Check the Meetup page for details or look for announcements on the Experiencers United Facebook Page (http://www.facebook.com/ExperiencersUnited?sk=wall).

Is this the first meetup of this group in your area? Is it local?

Yes. My first meetup is going to be January 21. There have been other Meetup groups like it NYC (some aren't active any more). Some focused on UFOs, others focused on the Paranormal, but I don't think there have been any that focused on the person experiencing the phenomenon or that explored the connections between UFOs and the Paranormal.

The meetings are local but anyone can register for it at www.meetup.com/ExperiencersUnited (http://www.meetup.com/ExperiencersUnited). Through the Meetup page, the Facebook page and the website/blog (that I'm still developing) at www.experiencersunited.com (http://www.experiencersunited.com), anyone should be able to keep up with the meetings no matter where they are.

I think it's a great idea to provide this type of a service for people with experiences of these phenomona.

I remembered today that there was Experiencers Support Group here in the desert about fifteen years ago. I was invited to attend but they met on a night I couldn't go and the meetings were held at a restaurant that was quite a way out in the desert. Over the years I did meet four or five of the members individually. I was surprised, back then, that they were pretty much average every day people.

Yours is a fantastic path to walk in...Here who works on Ufo topic is not interested in paranormal activity and viceversa...but the two things are strictly connected/linked.
In 1975 I started my "investigation" on paranormal activity of some kids (9-14 years old) who could repeat what they have seen on Uri Geller TV show. They could bend keys and other metal things too. I did a friendly conversation with them (their conversation with the scientists was not agreable for them) and they confess that, when they were "younger", had seen a beam of light hitting them. They never told this to the parents. I had never heard in my life the word UFO and I didn't know what they are. So I starting to explore the matter. I know the two things are linked...but it is neccessary to start studying our potencial faculties to find out more about UFOs and their occupants. Mine is just an opinion based on experiences on the field.
