View Full Version : Newly restored images from the Gemini missions

It's my understanding that these restored images from the Gemini missions were just released.
I haven't been through all of them yet but thought perhaps some of them might possibly contain anomalies.

I went through Gemini X - all of these images are of EarthEarth orbit.

No moon pics in Gemini VIII

Gemini VI-A is all Earth orbit pics

It seems that Gemini IV pics are all earth orbit (I looked at about half)

Gemini III pics are Earth orbit



I am done looking for moon pics here.

None of the Gemini flights left the Earth's orbit. Gemini was preparing NASA for manned space flight to the Moon, such as docking maneuvers.

I looked through many of the scans myself, but I didn't see anything "Earth shattering." I was hoping UNCLE would guide us to them.

I looked through many of the scans myself, but I didn't see anything "Earth shattering." I was hoping UNCLE would guide us to them.

Thanks for the info Marvin! Of course, I should have known that, but I didn't. I just went through the pics looking for anything "moon" - :) I wanted to find "some of them thar moon nomalies"!! :biggrin2:

And I still do, but will look more in the right places!!

Sorry for the late reply Marvin. I didn't mean to send you on a pointless hunting expo. I haven't found anything abnormal either, I just thought I'd post the link for others to look at. Some nice photos and history none-the-less.
