This field of interest has more lean periods than anything else. There is no regular funding, very little private support and all that can be counted on is opposition from nearly everywhere else. Some individuals continue to work, to do research, to collect, collate and disseminate information on their own initiative and at their own expense. Retired USAF Major George Filer is one of those people who continue to work no matter what and without regard to the personal cost.
George Filer is very generous with his work, he sends it out to nearly a thousand people weekly at no cost and encourages the recipients to give the reports to others. He has graciously given The OutPost Forum permission to publish his reports which we do so that a record is kept of this valuable information for our members and for our guest readers.
