In an article for the Huffington Post, Lee Speigel writes:

"If you're in the military and have ever seen what you believe to be a UFO, but were reluctant to mention it for fear of ridicule or, worse, repercussions that might end your career, take heart. Things may change.

A former military insider with top secret clearance who created Advanced Theoretical Physics -- a group of top-level government officials and scientists brought together to study UFO reports -- has just called on three of the highest-ranking military and intelligence officials in the Obama administration.

Retired Army Col. John Alexander (http://www.johnbalexander.com/home) has one goal: to ask Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta, CIA Director Gen. David Petraeus and National Intelligence Director Gen. James Clapper to offer amnesty to anyone in the military who has been previously sworn to secrecy about UFOs."

All I can add to that is that before Salti-Demo (I participated in both Demos and sometimes I get their names confused), we where briefed to not be concerned if we saw strange lights in the night sky during the game. I'm not sure if that's classified information, but there it is.

What's with the HuffPo and UFO's lately? Has this Liberal rag decided to actually go legit and take the lead on the most important story in the history of mankind? I certainly hope so. I will not hold my breath until ammesty is granted but it's certainly nice to see movement in that area. I am hoping (fingers and toes crossed) that what we are seeing is actual beginning of serious disclosure:biggrin2:

I'm not sure where HuffPo is going with this or why. There doesn't seem to be a disclosure theme in evidence--more like acceptance of the phenomena. I guess we'll have to wait and see if it continues and if any trends develop.

It might be more mundane than that: they found out people are interested in it so online publications get a lot of views, which in turn generates more income.

I think the key word here is Amnesty for people who come forward to talk about UFO's within the military to congress and Amnesty for those people within the military that have killed people during the time they had to protect information on UFO's and ET contact.

If the UFO community agree to that we may move forward to more disclosure.

Wait and see.
