Wonder whatever happened to this from the mid-1970s...

I know it is used in the medical field for endovascular stents.

atmjjc,

I am impressed, you either took time and or was already aware of it. Thanks for the links, interesting reading. Also, seeing it for sale on ebay. Of course I spelled it wrong at first... It is Nitinol...

I corrected the spelling error in the title of the thread.

Don't feel bad. Before I watched the video (and had my morning coffee), I almost made the correction myself, to NATIONAL Free Energy! haha.

I have been aware of Nitinol for a long time now (in fact, I am holding a piece of Nitinol wire in my hand right now).

This is what I have found interesting about Nitinol… its origin.

This technology is almost like magic… almost alien in nature. Go back and watch the video again starting at 4:01, at 4:20 listen to these curious words “he said, don’t wonder where it comes from. It’s a gift from God…” A godlike gift, very interesting. To the knowledgeable, it is very interesting indeed.

I must be getting smarter. I sat down with my coffee, started to type and stopped myself with "Wait until you wake up..." :bleh:

Update: I'm cross-posting the video on our Facebook page. Good find, Casper!

It is interesting to note:

The nickel-titanium alloys (Nitinol) were first developed in 1962–1963 by the United States Naval Ordnance Laboratory

It is also interesting to compare Bob Lazars claims:

An interesting set of bread crumbs to follow (even if Bob is a Decoy or a form of gray propaganda).

Navy R&D is and has been very active. The Bob Lazar story highlighted Navy involvement in secret projects (including UFO related interests like Area 51) that most people did not know about.

Marvin and Doc,

I recall Lazar from years ago and found what he had to say very interesting.
