Lens flare? Certainly has the classic UFO shape....

A lens flare is an internal reflection of light coming into the lens, it would be odd that the flare in this case is not symmetrical in the axis of the lens, but seems to have its axis outside the lens leading me to think that it is not a lens flare. The color of the "imaged item" is odd too, if it were an atmospheric mirage, what would it be reflecting that would have that color? Could it be a cloud of dust thrown high into the atmosphere by a dust devil? Could it just be a genuine UFO?

What doesn't sit well with me is what seems to be a strip of the same color as the object on the lower right. As in a cartoon with a motion bar.

Possible distortion field associated with anti gravity drive?

It looks like reflected light to me.

It just occurred to me that this is a "Google Street View", no one saw this thing and no one photographed it, other than it was an autocamera mounted on top of a car to take shots for the "Google Street View" which happened to catch something.

So it is anyones guess what it might really be.

Two mysterious and identical UFO's almost 1,000 miles apart have been observed on Google Maps - raising questions as to what they are and how they were photographed there in the first place.

The red orb-like shapes are visible to all users of the application online at Jacksonville in Texas and at the Sky City Casino Hotel on 32 Indian Service Route 30, Acoma Pueblo in New Mexico.

At both locations the same object appears in the sky hovering over the street and was first pointed out to ABC News affiliate KLTV in East Texas by Andrea Dover who noticed the first UFO while using Google Maps to get directions.

I wonder if identical cameras were used. May point to mechanical issues.

UFO or Lens Flare in Google Street View? You Decide

Google Maps helps many people do various things, but tracking UFOs might be a new one.
Andrea Dove contacted ABC News affiliate KLTV in East Texas (http://www.kltv.com/story/19649488/ufo-on-google-street-view) with an interesting tip. Dove was using Google Maps to get directions to visit her aunt in Jacksonville, Texas, when she spotted a UFO while using the Street View option.
Don’t believe it? Try it yourself by simply searching Jacksonville, Texas (https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&safe=off&q=jacksonville,+texas&ie=UTF-8&hq=&hnear=0x864823549021f335:0x6a3041a8000396c,Jackson ville,+TX&gl=us&ei=5UplUK_JIoikyQG2_IDgCw&ved=0CIEBELYD), and panning upward toward the sky in Street View to spot the reddish UFO near the clouds — although no one in Jacksonville has ever reported seeing one.
If you’re still looking for more evidence, try the same trick by searching for the Sky City Casino (https://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&safe=off&ie=UTF-8&q=Sky+City+Casino+Hotel,+32+Indian+Service+Route+3 0,+Acoma+Pueblo,+NM&fb=1&gl=us&hq=Sky+City+Casino+Hotel,+32+Indian+Service+Route+ 30,+Acoma+Pueblo,+NM&cid=0,0,17414079007768236313&ei=aktlUO2REMSCyAHthYCICQ&ved=0CJIBEPwSMAA) Hotel on 32 Indian Service Route 30, Acoma Pueblo, N.M. The same object appears in the sky hovering over the street.
What do these two sites have in common? A McDonald’s.
Is it really the same UFO or simply a lens flare?

Pretty close to where I'm at, never seen one around here. Though I do go outside at night and look at the stars every once in a while. Saw 3 or 4 weird "stars" zooming around in Phoenix 25 years ago, but nothing since.

Maybe E.T. just wanted a burger, fries, and a soda before hitting the interstellar highway...

Man that image looks typical 1950's saucer. Could be an elderly E.T. pulled his vintage disk out of the hanger and took it out for a spin hoping to impress the other E.T.s in their newer model rides? :das
