    How about "dismiss eye witness accounts as unreliable"?

    Always amazed/amused me that testimony that could convict in a court of law is almost always dismissed as unreliable in paranormal incidents...

    That's 1,2 and 9 and then the appeal to authority.

    As with the grassy knoll shooter in JFK. Ignore the 54 of 87 witnesses who testified that shots came from DalTex building and Grassy Knoll, indignantly tell them they're idiotic and it was echoes, etc.
