I wonder what race these types belong to?
I often wonder why the local military doesn't send up helicopters to investigate such phenomenon.
Then I remember that scene from the first ID4 movie where the chopper with the flashing lights communication array is blasted out of the sky by the alien craft.
That would quickly turn into an entirely different kind of news story.
