Hi Fore. The ones used by pilots have shielding, but more to keep them from interfering with the aircraft's instruments. The ones that soldiers use (the PVS-14) are not EMP hardened because in being small, self-contained, using short wires and very basic components, they are not sensitive enough to justify the cost/weight of shielding. Length of wiring determines how much of an antenna something is, and therefore how much current or voltage is induced when an EMP hits. That said, many preppers keep theirs inside an ammo can just in case, haha.
Not to mention, people get abducted out of apartments in the middle of cities, and it's not like cars malfunction and power glitches whenever that happens. And yet, there are definitely cases of things sometimes malfunctioning in the presence of alien ships and aliens.Quote:
I ask this because an interesting question reading your account came to mind. How is that a UFO at 200 yards (600ft~) or less causes a car and cameras to malfunction? But when it comes to certain encounters the like the USS Omaha nightscope video the craft looks like it's within that distance from the top of the deck...and yet, no EMI or electrical problems in the night scope.
As far as cars go, I remember a case or two where the car stalled but after the UFO left the car started back up automatically. Only explanation I could come up with is that the electrons in the starter coil or distributor cap and wires were momentarily frozen, and after the UFO left they continued on their way and ignited the engine. I think something similar was happening in the computer monitor that you once were able to fritz, as the inverter circuit inside uses coils and high voltage too.
It wouldn't surprise me if the effects included certain physical constants momentarily changing, like the electric permittivity and magnetic permeability constants of free space. These determine how things interact magnetically and electrically with how much force. If the electric constant changed, electrons in wires wouldn't behave right and you'd get equipment malfunctions.
There was an earthquake researcher, Larry Park, who measured "scalar waves" coming from the ground just prior to earthquakes. He mentioned how these waves would alter the magnetic constant, and there were anecdotes of refrigerator magnets sliding/falling off fridges in the hours/days before an earthquake due to that.
So whether it's electron motion, electron density (determined by how much force they repel each other with), or electric/magnetic constants being affected, the result would be electronics not working right.
I'm reminded of spoon bending parties. That's psi phenomena softening metal. But there are also claims of devices that can do that using high voltage fields (from Tesla coils or pulse generators) that anomalously soften or outright jellify or liquify metal at room temperatures. John Hutchison and Eugene Podkletnov's work to be specific.Quote:
Isn't that weird? Or is EMI an optional effect that can be induced on demand?
Or is it purely non-physical PSI phenomena affecting physical devices and their inherent physics?
Both produce similar effects, but one uses psi / influence manipulation, and the other uses exotic physics. They may be working on atoms and molecules from two different directions but ultimately meeting in the middle.
So the electronic malfunctions could likewise be due to either/or, depending on the source and mechanism. Figuring out the bridge between physics and psi in a concrete and applicable way is a bit of a holy grail I'm chasing after.
Regarding UFOs, I bet some of those crafts are human black ops ships that were sloppy in what fields they put out and what they affected.
Whereas aliens seem to have much greater mastery of it, and therefore make fewer mistakes. Which implies it may be intentional when it occurs. After all, do they really need to be flashing all those lights looking like a flying christmas tree... unless they wanted to be seen, in measured doses.
Yes, there was a good example of where it changed colors and then got real bright as it took off toward outer space. But I can't remember the name of that case. I don't think it was a TR3B though.Quote:
Do any actual UFO cases indicate that the lights intensify upon it moving. Or shift in color when moving?
Here's sort of another one: https://www.ufocasebook.com/Allagash.html -- "After a time on the lake, the four suddenly saw a light... a light that seemed much brighter than a star. The glowing orb was hovering over the trees a couple of hundred yards away. The object changed colors as it moved back and forth; red, then green, then a whitish yellow."
(Side note: while the Tic Tac UFO vids seem totally real, the night vision one of the triangular fuzzy UFOs may not be legit: https://alternateuniverse.co/the-nav...iter-and-stars )
