Are you a women or a muppet?

(whoops! I mean muppet or man... or something like that.)

Here in California, we have a booming Solar Panel industry for 'home owners', aka renewable energy resource.
    Few if any gas/oil refineries.
Very few Off Shore oil drilling platforms.
Giant Wind Turbine farms generating electricity.
    Few nuclear sites.
No coal burning electrical production facilities (Natural Gas only).
Electric cars, with many plug-in stations throughout the state.
Our local police department has the largest pool of Electric motorcycles in the state (quiet, fast, and NO emissions).
Fireplaces have been all but banned in new homes, with few exceptions.
In the past 20 years, we have gone from 100 BAD AIR days per year, to ZERO (still some moderate days, but vastly improved).

If Putin said "unstoppable", then IMHO he is simply Cheap and Lazy.
Out here in the West, with hard work and innovation, progress on improving the environment is being made.

Hope you don't live near San Francisco. I wonder if they're truly prepared for the big one.. or a just a sig. one for that matter. It's coming soon. The big one. That's the information I have on that anyway. update: 12:48 PM EST emphasis on EQ in S.F.

As for climate change, it's time to focus on how to adjust to it, to be able to survive it. We've already passed the threshold of no-return as far as global warming is concerned. Almost half the pop. of the world lives in cities located on coastlines. Where are they going to go when the oceans wipe out their cities? But that's only the tip of the iceberg. What about the rising co2 levels and the list goes on and on. We're far passed the point of debating what the culprits are. Now it's all about saving humanity and all life on this planet. As if we haven't got enough problems already. There currently does not seem to be any Plan B.

Without going to far OT, just like to say that giving up on our environment is not an option in my book.
Roll over and die because it is hopeless?
Seems like an irresponsible way to avoid putting in the work.
Improving the environment won't happen over night, but unless we try, it won't happen at all.

    'nuff said?

Humble Pie-30 Days In The Hole
    .

with Steve Marriott and Peter Frampton, these guys put out some great classic rock.
IDK why, but the vocals had me thinking talented soul sisters. Initially surprised me back in the day to see Steve with his intense vibrato.
