The original clip became famous for Prince's guitar solo.
The 2021 director's cut has dropped several transition effects and includes more shots of Prince during the solo.

Eagles - Hotel California Live At Capital Centre 1977
Never really cared for the Acoustic version Eagles put out many years later.
The acoustic was good, but not Superstar Rock Anthem great like this fully electric original.
Love, love, love, the last 2 minutes of the song when Don Felder and Joe Walsh (Each; Rock Guitar Legends in their own right) play dueling guitars in the fade out.
Never really appreciated the nuance until my son was born in 1984 (7 years later?). Put on a set of headphones like any new father would do and fired up the RECORD PLAYER (hehe, I know) and was amazed as each guitar ping-ponged from ear-to-ear. While my new-born son was sleeping, he was spared my cranking up the tune on my Sennheiser headphones to 10; and I never listened to the song quite the same again.

In a weird twist, I came upon this adaptation that sounded so strange on paper I had to listen to it. Kind of like a car wreck you can't take your eyes off off. Imagine my surprise when it actually turned out to be a fairly good adaptation?!?
