Yesterday - The Beatles (With Spoken Word Intro / Live From Studio 50, New York City / 1965).

Melancholy song, sort of fits the mood in my COVID19 locked down neighborhood.

Pink Floyd - One of these days - Live at Pompeii HD.

    .
Can't say I'm a fan of whoever edited this video. But until I can find the original, guess it will have to do.
Always a fan of the song, but recall seeing this video for the first time.
Backpacking around Europe as a youngster in the early 1970s. Chillin' at a Youth Hostile in downtown Paris.
Munching on a fresh/warm baguette and sipping my morning coffee when "Pompeii" pops onto a crappy little B/W TV.
What the TV lacked in quality, the music made up for with a soaring rendition.
Put a BIG smile on my face. Good times.

Oh! Old goth! Just my jam Went to see cure in London live two years ago, amazing gig.

I want to share with you this new find. Well, new as in released a year ago and has almost 10 million views, but that what passing decades do to you. It is a perfect animated 80's morning cartoon-anime music video for the best series that never existed.
Knowing thing of few of how about visual storytelling, this is very, very well made.
Referencing Moebius and Miyazaki, builds a coming-of-age story about conquering your own doubts/ego/Demiurge while saving the galaxy with a awesome crew. Hero's Journey story beats nicely synchronise to music, hand drawn, visual effects, vivid colors, quality of the design, pacing of motion, contrasts of various kinds, neat little tricks to quide the eye.... ah, it is just amazing! And the music is pretty fine too.
I hope you get the same kicks outta it. Pls, enjoy it properly for the first viewing, don't watch it from the phone
