This may seem flippant and or maudlin but it really isn't meant to be. We are all Atreyu in a way... We just need to get beyond the borders.

If we don't tell em...instant karma gonna get us!

There's been quite some discussion on this latest Katy Perry manifestation and its Illuminati underpinnings

    Lyrics

    Are we crazy?
Living our lives through a lens
    Trapped in our white-picket fence
    Like ornaments
So comfortable, we live in a bubble, a bubble
So comfortable, we cannot see the trouble, the trouble
    Aren't you lonely
    Up there in utopia
Where nothing will ever be enough?
    Happily numb
So comfortable, we live in a bubble, a bubble
So comfortable, we cannot see the trouble, the trouble

    Ah, so good
    Your rose-colored glasses on
    And party on

Turn it up, it's your favorite song
Dance, dance, dance to the distortion
Turn it up, keep it on repeat
Stumbling around like a wasted zombie
    Yeah, we think we're free
Drink, this one is on me
We're all chained to the rhythm
To the rhythm to the rhythm

Turn it up, it's your favorite song
Dance, dance, dance to the distortion
Turn it up, keep it on repeat
Stumbling around like a wasted zombie
    Yeah, we think we're free
Drink, this one is on me
We're all chained to the rhythm
To the rhythm to the rhythm

    Are we tone deaf?
Keep sweeping it under the mat
Thought we can do better than that
    I hope we can
So comfortable, we live in a bubble, a bubble
So comfortable, we can’t see the trouble, the trouble

    Aha, so good (so good)
    Your rose-colored glasses on
    And party on

Turn it up, it's your favorite song
Dance, dance, dance to the distortion
Turn it up, keep it on repeat
Stumbling around like a wasted zombie
    Yeah, we think we're free
Drink, this one is on me
We're all chained to the rhythm
To the rhythm to the rhythm

Turn it up, it's your favorite song
Dance, dance, dance to the distortion
Turn it up, keep it on repeat
Stumbling around like a wasted zombie
    Yeah, we think we're free
Drink, this one is on me
We're all chained to the rhythm
To the rhythm to the rhythm

    It is my desire
Break down the walls to connect, inspire
Ay, up in your high place, liars
Time is ticking for the empire
The truth they feed is feeble
    As so many times before
    They greed over the people
They stumbling and fumbling and we're about to riot
They woke up, they woke up the lions (woo!)

Turn it up, it's your favorite song
Dance, dance, dance to the distortion
turn it up, keep it on repeat
Stumbling around like a wasted zombie
    Yeah, we think we're free
Drink, this one is on me
We're all chained to the rhythm
To the rhythm to the rhythm

It goes on, and on, and on (turn it up )
It goes on, and on, and on
It goes on, and on, and on
(It goes on) 'cause we're all chained to the rhythm

    I found this on Failblog.

Quite amazing how one music production formula is repeated again and again. These are 6 different songs, but if you don't know, you could easily think it's one and the same: Sir Mashalot mixes 6 country songs.

I wasn't sure whether to put it here or in the 'For a laugh' thread...

Rock 'n' Roll isn't dead, it was reincarnated!

Last week, I walked into a convenience store / gas station and heard Lyric Dubee's new song "Take Me Down" airing on FM Radio!

I've been following his career for a long time. Hearing his song airing on a nationally syndicated rock program was exciting. His new song was nestled among Classic Rock.

Recently, he signed with a music label. In the near future, he has new album coming-out. Not long ago, he posted "Take Me Down" at Sound Cloud. Good-old-fashion style, head-nodding and foot-tapping Rock n Roll.

A couple years ago, from his independently released album Combat of Love the song Linger bumped Justin Bieber from a number ten slot of top 40s. Linger is melodic and relaxing music.

Prior to his music deal, he toured China... The summer of 2016 and via that music label, he toured the US as guitarist for an artist opening for the Go Go's.

I am assuming "Take Me Down" is a preview of his upcoming album. Click here for Take Me Down and leave him a comment.

'I Rise Above' was written by friends and family members. Although Jacob isn't able to speak, music is a language that he fully understands. This song shares Jake's messages. He reminds us of life's simple pleasures - the power of here and now. It's about embracing and appreciating the people you love and who love you. Jacob continues to remind us about what truly matters in life.

    Song Lyrics:

Come in from the cold on a Sunday
    I’ve been waiting for you
Pick up your guitar and play me a song
Let the music lift our souls
I love the sound of your voice
    And your fingers on strings
This moment with you is more than enough
The melody is all I need

You may not hear me, I am a message of love
When you are near me, it's you I'm thinking of
No need to fix me, I am my own perfect soul
    There’s a reason, I am here, I am love
    I rise above

Come into the water on a summer’s day
Let me lay there in your arms
On the waves I’m floating away
This moment is all I need

    Chorus

One day I will show you I can fly
I will leave my wheelchair behind
One day I’ll leave this earthly ground
This body no longer I’ll be bound

You may not hear me, I am a message of love
When you are near me, it's you I'm thinking of
No need to fix me, I am my own perfect soul
    There’s a reason, I am here, I am love
    I rise above
    I rise above
    I rise above
    I rise above
