THE DOORS "Light My Fire" on The Ed Sullivan Show

Short excerpt from the performance that enraged Ed Sullivan.
"The Doors" were told they could NOT use the phrase "HIGHER" during the performance, they dutifully said "Yes Sir" and did it anyway.
    Gotta love the rebel spirit.

Ray & Jim, reunited at last in that big music hall in the sky. RIP guys.

Wow, he was a great artist. I really have to say everyone here has some very good taste in music. I've been listening to the guitarist from the second to last Red Hot Chilli Peppers cd, John Frusciante.

We won't back down on Disclosure.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, "I Won't Back Down".

    Well, I won't back down
    No I won't back down
You can stand me up at the gates of hell
    But I won't back down
    No I'll stand my ground
    Won't be turned around
And I'll keep this world from draggin' me down
    Gonna stand my ground

    And I won't back down
    (I won't back down(
Hey baby, there ain't no easy way out
    (I won't back down)
Hey I will stand my ground
    And I won't back down

    Well I know what's right
    I got just one life
In a world that keeps on pushin' me around
    But I'll stand my around

    And I won't back down
    (I won't back down)
Hey baby, there ain't no easy way out
    (I won't back down)
Hey I will stand my ground
    (I won't back down)
    And I won't back down

    (I won't back down)
Hey baby, there ain't no easy way out
    (I won't back down)
    Hey I won't back down
    (I won't back down)
Hey baby, there ain't no easy way out
    (I won't back down)
Hey I will stand my ground
    (I won't back down)
    And I won't back down
    (I won't back down)
