I agree that was one of the best of the early MTV music videos. There were several vids directed by Stephen R. Johnson for Peter Gabriel that I thought were really fun.
Another one from that period that was basically played into oblivion but still liked is A-Ha's "Take On Me," kind of an Altered states ending.

Yeah Okay, naughty nights get pretty visceral as well!
