Paul Kantner - Find Your Way Back - Jefferson Starship Live 2013

Popular Rock #1 hit, from the 1984 Nuclear Furniture album.

Hope I'm having this much fun in my golden years!

Earth, Wind & Fire - Shining Star.

    R.I.P. Maurice White.
Founder of the R&B band, Earth, Wind & Fire.

Something about that hammering slappy bass line, the kicking choreography, and then when the brass horns kick in... hard to sit still

Based on a novel. It's an apocalyptic rock ballad but it's easy listening.

    When the wild wind blows.

Mel Tillis "Coca Cola Cowboy" in a roomful of high priced talent from a reunion series a few years back that drew great interest from fans of 70s-80s Country Music.

Was listening to the local university classical station last and they played one of Jon Lord's (Deep Purple) compositions. I had totally forgotten about this album and what a talented guy Lord was. I'm pretty sure the Moody's where the first to do an album and or perform live with a full orchestra, but I think this may have been the first with a full orchestra in mind when composed.?

Nice voice, good piano (keyboard man, myself).
But isn't it a bit odd singing a song about guitars, without hearing any guitar music?

I was thinking the same thing, "singing about guitars, without hearing any guitar music".

Jackson was an accomplished guitarist at a very young age. His father preformed Elvis impersonations, when old enough Jackson joined him on stage for a father / son duel impersonations of Elvis.

Two or three years ago, Jackson's grandmother received a hate letter regarding autistic grandson. From what I understood, the grandson jump around and made loud noises when walking on the sidewalk. Jackson wrote this song for his brother.

November, 2015: Max got a heavy duty swing. It appears their community (near Toronto CA) got together to help provide it.

Jackson has written and recorded a number of good songs. I hope he can make a living at writing and performing.

A few months ago, I wrote how the music industry has changed since my days working in it. I looked in the forms for the post, didn't find it. Typical me, write something and decided not to post it.
