Thread: What music are you listening to now...?

Ah, your post just affirms my decision to delay purchasing a "smart phone." Seems to me they just aren't very smart phones yet!

The first i posted on this page is pretty self evident I think but nevertheless: The Voyage 2013 Part 3 (Greg Lake) and In The Wake Of Poseidon... (King Crimson) Greg Lake Bass and vocals.

    # 2144 was the song "El noi de la Mare," by group Hirundo Maris from the album "Peiwoh"

    Hirundo Maris, Peiwoh en concert
    Arianna Savall Voix et harpes
Petter U. Johansen Voix et mandoline
    Sveinung Lilleheier Dobro et guitares
    Miquel Àngel Cordero Contrebasse
    David Mayoral Percussions

Arianna Savall's voice is ethereal to me!

#2148 Was,Stephen Cleobury conducts a wonderful performance of Handel's "MESSIAH" from Pieterskerk in Leiden, Netherlands.

    With:
    Lynne Dawson, soprano
    Hillary Summers, alto
    John Mark Ainsley, tenor
    Alastair Miles, bass

    The Brandenburg Consort

    Crispian Steele Perkins, trumpet

The Choir of King's College, Cambridge

#2149 Was Jethro Tull Rare Promo Vid for Solstice bells 1976

Although I think Christmas trees are unnecessary unless you happen to be a Druid. It is kind of a cute song!

    Not that big a drawback.
The Android App I use, Tapatalk, does not provide YouTube previews when posted on the threads.

If I select the YouTube link, the video will play.
Just nice to know title/artist BEFORE executing.

    A true great !

It's crazy how many legends have passed away this year !

When I was a schoolboy I has Status Quo painted on the flap of my haversack, as was a custom back then with haversacks.

Many say that Clay Aiken was born to sing this song. I agree. It's transcendent.

    "O, Holy Night"

O holy night! The stars are brightly shining,
This is the night of the dear Savior's birth.
Long lay the world in sin and error pining.
Till He appeared and the soul felt its worth.

A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!
    O night divine, oh night when Christ was born;
O night, oh holy night, oh night divine.

A thrill of hope, the weary world rejoices,
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn.
Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices!
    O night divine, oh night when Christ was born;
O night, oh holy night, oh night divine.
