How many folk know that part of this song is about God kicking Adam and Eve out of the Garden Of Eden. (it's in the lead guitar, towards the last 1/3 of the piece.) @ 13:00 its Adam Eve running like He11 forever banned from the garden . . .
Cool! I have sheet music for this. I think it was for the organ.

Well I'm still jamming here for the small crowd (so to speak)

Here is 3 guys that make the grade without all the modern synthesizers of today. (hard to believe just three guys with real instruments!!!)

    Yup! 48 years ago!

Last one for the night . . . I think we really are spirits living in a material world, and maybe this song comes close to a description of eternity. I'll dedicate this to our late ADMIN, Doc who put a good part of his life into TOP forum . . . .

Yes, epo333, THIS is what we need. Why can't anyone compose or sing like this anymore?

Take note and wonder what the #WhatIsNeeded rule might find as being useful next:

Ha, use to drum to this too. Just not up to flams and jams much any more. Use to play to Rare Earth too. Ah the good old days.

Iron Butterfly - In-A-Gadda-Da-Vidda=In The Garden of Eden.
Song really takes me back. I was an 8th grader in middle school back in 1969 when it topped out at #4. It later went on to X4 Platinum with 30 million albums sold. Beyond the Drum solo & booming base line, the opening keyboard riff is pretty special too.

Looking back at songs that were charting on Billboard in 1969 is like reading the sound track of my life.
So many wonderful songs played by such giant talents.

A list of a few of those songs seared into my memory. How many do YOU recognize? Post your favorite YouTube rendition.
