1970, Aerosmith was formed in Boston MA.

Sweet Emotion was an opening song for the film Dazed and Confused.

The music was written by bass player Tom Hamilton.
Sweet Emotion was released as a single, May 1975.
It peaked on U.S. Billboard Hot 100 at number 36.

One of the band's early hits was Dream On

Steven Tyler wrote the lyrics for Dream On at age 14.
At age 17 or 18, he wrote the music on an upright Steinway piano.
The song was released on the band’s 1973 and 1976 albums.
It peaked on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 at 59 in 1973.
In 1976, it peaked at number 6.

In the past, whenever I wanted to try out a sound system, this is one of the songs I'd play: Fischer Z - So Long
