    Varies from state to state.
In Cali, when you get your driver's license (privilege), you agree to to submit to an alcohol test upon arrest.
If you refuse, you receive an automatic license suspension.
However as I understand it, if you just committed a DUI that involves mayhem, manslaughter or vehicular homicide, you will be forced (as the link shows) to provide a sample for analysis.

Get drunk and kill or maim an innocent; the police here in Cali are legally given greater latitude in their investigation.
Some would say (like the dead persons family) rightly so.

Former US Terror Advisor: Michael Hastings May Have Been Killed By 'Car Cyber Attack'

Was Michael Hastings' Car Hacked? Richard Clarke Says It's Possible

    Mike Hogan

The peculiar circumstances of journalist Michael Hastings' death in Los Angeles last week have unleashed a wave of conspiracy theories.
Now there's another theory to contribute to the paranoia: According to a prominent security analyst, technology exists that could've allowed someone to hack his car. Former U.S. National Coordinator for Security, Infrastructure Protection, and Counter-terrorism Richard Clarke told The Huffington Post that what is known about the single-vehicle crash is "consistent with a car cyber attack."

    About the facebook face detector...

It seems like there's some sort of intelligence behind it. I was 'tagging' some people in some photos and not only does it know exactly where in the picture the face of a person is (it's never been off once) it also has suggestions pop up for you to select which name the face belongs to. Pictures of me and my brother brought up both of our names. In his pic, the first suggestion was him, and same with mine. It's getting creepier...

Wasn't there a similar FBI program called "Carnivore" in the news a few years back?
FBI must be glad to be out of the spotlight on this one.

Protests are important and remembered in history.

Occupy Movement did not alter the landscape in Washington DC.

A key figure / individual for people to rally behind hasn't been seen - yet.

Will massive rallies and protests in DC and major cities make a difference?

The type of monitoring going on is a major step toward becoming as they are - a hive mind.
