I've wondered if they can only eat certain parts of the animal. Just like a cat will only eat certain parts of a mouse or a human can only eat certain parts of a puffer fish. Perhaps the other parts are poisonous to the beings.

Think of them as independent electrical fields and you'll come to a closer understanding. You've undoubtedly heard about (or even witnessed) alien beings passing through solid objects such as walls... Now you know why.

The purpose of the hybridization project identified by Dave Jacobs is the acquisition of the substantial density required for permanent existence in our paradigm. It's that simple.

    Very interesting concept.

That wasn't the way I read David Jacobs' books, the hybridization process is proposed to be physical in my understanding.

If your theory was right surely those responsible would want to remove the "substantial density" from there targeted animals? That would be the muscle and bone tissue would it not? Instead the bulk of the animal's mass is left behind.

As for the idea of actual food, it doesn't really work for cases involving smaller wild animals, I can't image a mouse's jaw flesh making much of a meal. To me the wild animal cases suggest some kind of enviromental monitoring. There could well be more than one reason for the mutilations though.

One thing has nothing to do with another. The density I refer too is the result of genetic intermingling. Substantial density refers to the relative density of substance.• It has nothing to do with mutes. Actually I don't recall Dave ever commenting on mutes at all. That's not his area of expertise.

    • ( It's commonly and most simply expressed as weight per unit of volume. But that's only a simplified analogue.)
