Is this news to you Charlie about ISIS/ISIL. All these things shown in the video are well documented about the Obama administration and his aid to those rebels mostly to engage Syria by proxy. He plans on arming rebels in that area again if he hasn’t already. Nobody can be that stupid; Obama will go down in history as the worst president this country voted in and stripping Jimmy Carter of the title, which is if we can last another two more years with this buffoon as President.

Three months ago I stayed in this exact beach house in the photo below. The owner had photos of his previous "house" on this lot in Crystal Beach. The previous house was a junk pile of rotting plywood and sheetmetal. He got the house below as a free replacement.



This thing is 22 feet in the air due to the ridiculous new building codes. It sways in the wind. Wet towels hanging on a hook in the bathroom swing from side-to-side 8 inches. I'm not kidding. I have video of it.

I won't be back to Bolivar. My old knees cannot tolerate hiking up and down two flights of stairs every time I need something out of the car.

The irony is that some of the folks who have beachhomes and keep losing it every decade now built their new beachhomes with adjustable height. So the piers length can now be adjusted depending on the incoming storm.


I should also point out that a beachhome suspended in the air should not swing that much. If it does...it'll rip to pieces as soon as 120mph winds hit it.

"Spiral out of Control" Sounds like a movie plot. I assure you that my neighbors and our rifles had things well under "control". We had no need for your Big Daddy's armed thugs and bureacrats in helicopters. We have our own heavy machinery, medical supplies, and relationships with people who grow food and fix plumbing, computers, electricity, HVAC, roofs, and broken bones.

I had the same thought. This beach house was not well-built. ( link to photos )

I saw photos of the construction. Basically, it's a double-wide mobile home. It was delivered on tractor-trailers in two peices, split lengthwise. They build the deck, then use a big crane to set the two halves on the deck.



I would definately not want to be in that thing during high winds.
