It has toxic fuels on board and may have some residual gases of other types after re-entry. When the shuttle landed they had various vehicles around the craft to include what appeared to be a large set of fan blades to disperse the gases.

Rocket engines of this type were used on WWII Me 163B, and have always been dangerous to ground crews and flight crews.

I was under the impression that "some" TR-3B were nuclear powered mainly because US Military have made Nuclear Submarines and Nuclear Powered Ships, it's just logical that the US Military would have worked on Nuclear Powered Aircraft.

This resent breakthrough is just the disclosure of old tech. http://reason.com/24-7/2014/10/15/lo...n-breakthrough

    Don't you think?

the japanese lunar mission started on

The first spacecraft of the program, the unmanned lunar orbiter SELENE (Kaguya), was launched from Tanegashima Space Center on September 14, 2007,

    and ended on:

KAGUYA was descended to the 50km altitude from February 1, 2009 and then was descended again to 10-30km in Lower altitude (Perilune) from April 16, 2009. Finally, KAGUYA was impacted to the south-east of near side of the Moon on June 10, 2009 (GMT).

the images are from the south pole region of the moon, as best as I can recall, time permitting I will try to track down the video it came from.
