    Secret Air Force Evaluation of Flying Discs

    Several military personnel have given sworn testimony that a UFO that crashed near Roswell, New Mexico in June 1947 was taken to Wright Field the home of the Air Material Command. I have been informed that General Twinning personally saw the captured aliens and their craft. This is a transcription of General Nathan Twinning’s letter as Commander Air Material Command to higher headquarters. He indicates his best engineers and scientists examined the craft.
    Later General Twining was promoted to Chief of Staff of the Air Force and on August 15, 1957, President Eisenhower in the Cabinet Room of the White House formally swore in General Twining as Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff the highest military position in the U.S. This is a transcription of General Nathan Twinning’s letter as Commander Air Material Command, dated September 23, 1947.
    SUBJECT: AMC Opinion Concerning “Flying Discs”
    To: Commanding General Army Air Force
    Washington 25, D.C.
    ATTENTION: Brig. General George Schulgen AC/AS-2’

    1. As requested by AC/AS-2 there is presented below the considered opinion of this command concerning the so-called “Flying Discs.” This opinion is based on interrogation report data furnished by AC/AS-2 and preliminary studies by personnel of T-2 and Aircraft Laboratory, Engineering Division T-3. This opinion was arrived at in a conference between personnel from the Air Institute of Technology, Intelligence T-2, Office, Chief of Engineering Division, and the Aircraft, Power Plant and Propeller Laboratories of Engineering Division T-3.
    2. It is the opinion that:
    3. The phenomenon is something real and not visionary or fictitious.
      b. There are objects probably approximating the shape of a disc, of such appreciable size as to appear to be as large as man-made aircraft.
      c. There is a possibility that some of the incidents may be caused by natural phenomena, such as meteors.
      d. The reported operating characteristics such as extreme rates of climb, maneuverability (particularly in roll), and motion which must be considered evasive when sighted or contacted by friendly aircraft and radar, lend belief to the possibility that some of the objects are controlled manually, automatically or remotely.
    4. The apparent common description is as follows:-

    (1) Metallic or light reflecting surface.
    (2) Absence of trail, except in a few instances where the object apparently was operating under high performance conditions.
    (3) Circular or elliptical in shape, flat on bottom and domed on top.
    (4) Several reports of well-kept formation flights varying from three to nine objects.
    (5) Normally no associated sound, except in three instances a substantial rumbling roar was noted.
    (6) Level flight speeds normally above 300 knots are estimated.


    1. It is possible within the present U.S. knowledge — provided extensive detailed development is undertaken — to construct a piloted aircraft, which has the general description of the object in sub- paragraph (e) above which would be capable of an approximate range of 7000 miles at subsonic speeds.
    2. Any development in this country along the lines indicated would be extremely expensive, time consuming and at the considerable expense of current projects and therefore, if directed, should be set up independently of existing projects.
    3. Due consideration must be given the following:-

    (1) The possibility that these objects are of domestic origin – the product of some high security project not known to AC/AS-2 or this Command.
    (2) The lack of physical evidence in the shape of crash recovered exhibits which would undeniably prove the existence of these subjects.
    (3) The possibility that some foreign nation has a form of propulsion possibly nuclear, which is outside of our domestic knowledge.

    1. It is recommended that:- Headquarters, Army Air Forces (AAF) issue a directive assigning a priority, security classification and Code name for a detailed study of this matter to include the preparation of complete sets of all available and pertinent data which will then be made available to the Army, Navy, Atomic Energy Commission, JRDB, the Air Force Scientific Advisory Group, NACA, and the RAND and NEPA projects for comments and recommendations, with a preliminary report to be forwarded within 15 days of receipt of the data and a detailed report thereafter every 30 days as the investigation develops. A complete interchange of data should be affected.

    Note: General Twining flying discs are real and not visionary or fictitious. He suggests it is possible within the present U.S. knowledge — provided extensive detailed development is undertaken — to construct a similar piloted aircraft. His later positions of leadership would provide the authority to build copies of the alien craft.

    UFO Crashes in New Mexico

    INTELLIGENCE ASSESSMENT File ref • OO1947122-A-1206

    1. The extraordinary recovery of fallen airborne objects in the state of New Mexico, between 4 July – 6 July 1947: This Summary was prepared by Headquarters Interplanetary Phenomenon Unit, Scientific and Technical Branch, Counterintelligence Directorate, as requested by A.C. of S., G-2, at the expressed order of Chief of Staff.
    2. At 2332 MST, 3 July 47, radar stations in east Texas, and White Sands Proving Ground, N.M., tracked two unidentified, aircraft until both dropped off radar. Two crash sites have been located close to the WSPG. Site LZ-1 was located at a ranch near Corona, approx. 75 miles northwest of the town of Roswell. Site LZ-2 was. located approx. 20 miles southeast of the town of Socorro, at Lat.3 3-40-31, Long. 106-28-29, with Oscura Peak being the geographic reference point. 3. The AST personnel were mainly interested in LZ-2 as this site contained the majority of structural detail of the craft’s airframe, propulsion and navigation technology. The recovery of five bodies in a damaged escape cylinder precluded an investigation at LZ-1.
    3. On arrival at LZ-2, personnel assessed the finds as not belonging to any aircraft, rocket, weapons, or balloon test that are normally conducted from surrounding bases. First reports indicated that the first crash investigators, from Roswell AAF that LZ-1 was the remains of a AAF top secret MOGUL balloon project. When scientists from the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory arrive* to inspect LZ-2, it became apparent to all concerned that what had crashed in the desert was something out of this world.     Generals Fly to New Mexico

    General Twining and General Chidlaw had orders to attend a July 8th three day Bomb Commanders Course at Sandia Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This excuse for the trip seemed very unusual for generals to attend. Sandia was the principal nuclear weapons installation of the United States Department of Defense where a crashed UFO propulsion system would likely be taken.
    General Twining flight logs of 1947 have been released in the past few years and have been reviewed, so his whereabouts between July 7th and July 9th 1947 have been confirmed and authenticate part of this document. This trip to New Mexico was Twining’s one and only trip during summer of 1947. IPU Summary Page 4 states the following:- 7th July 1947 – Twinning went to Alamagordo AAF for a secret meeting with AAF Chief of Staff Spaatz and to view recovered remains of craft from crash landing site 20 miles northwest of Socorro. 8th July 1947 – Twinning went to Kirtland AAF/ Sandia to inspect parts recovered from powerplant. 9th July 1947 – Twining and staff went to White Sands Proving Ground to inspect pieces of craft being stored there. 10th July 1947 – Twining made inspection of R&D facilities at Alamogordo and then returned to Wright Field. A local newspaper states that an interview with Twining took place at Kirtland on 8th July 1947.

    . There was no record of meeting with President Truman on Twining’s pilot flight log, but his pilot said Twining sometimes made secret flights himself, with Truman actually flying the plane. There is also information about Twining meeting with President Truman on 25th September 1947 as reported in Humelsine dictation to President Truman on this date.
    I talked with the archivist at the Truman Archives, Sandia, and one at Air Force Library and visited the crash site.
    What is interesting is that the top Air Force Generals and posibly President Truman all apparently visited the Southwest where two UFOs are believed to have crashed in July of 1947.
    I visited the Truman Library and they claimed that the President stayed with his sick wife during this period in Independence, Missouri. The news media pretty much left him alone because of the concern for his wife’s illness. I asked if it was posible for Truman to have left Missouri. They felt it was possible particularly if he was flown in military aircraft.
    I interviewed Mrs. Roger Ramey who would not confirm the Roswell crash. She indicated, “Her husband was very upset about being forced to make statements, he did not want to make about a weather balloon, he was a very proud man and would never lie unless ordered to do so.”
    Mrs. Ramey confirmed that General Ramey and herself and become good friends with President Truman and had dinner with him several times. I suggested it was very unusual for military personnel to become friends with a President and I asked how it happened? She indicated that her husband and the President had worked together on important classified projects. She would not confirm that this was the Roswell crash.
    Brigadier General Roger Ramey headed the 8th Air Forces that included the Walker Field in Roswell, New Mexico. Later he was Air Force Director of Operations Left the service a three-star general and Director of the Air Defense Command. He was a key player in the UFO obtained from LZ 1 and iss ued the stor that the crashed UFO was a weather balloon.
    General Ramey Researcher Tom Carey reports, “I was able to interview Mr. Marion Brimberry a former Air Force air crewman. It was clear to me that he was sorry that he ever said anything about it in the first place. It was like pulling teeth to get him to say anything to me. In brief, all he would tell me was that, back in late 1947 or early 1948 when he was stationed at Ft. Worth Army Air Field, he was part of a flight crew waiting on the tarmac for a B-29 to taxi up for boarding. In the group waiting was Brigadier General Roger Ramey who was talking to some of the officers in Brimberry’s crew. Brimberry told me that he overheard Ramey tell one of the officers that, “It [the weather balloon story] was the biggest lie they ever made me tell.”, and that the real stuff was really, “Out of this world.” That’s basically all that I could get out of Mr. Brimberry who is a very reluctant witness.     Roswell Debris and Message

    Apparently, in early July 1947, Major Jesse Marcel, intelligence officer of the 509th Bombardment Group, at Roswell, recovered flying saucer wreckage from a ranch near Corona, NM.

    The recovery was announced in the news worldwide and Marcel was ordered to courier the debris to General Ramey’s office for examination. A special B-29 flight flew Marcel to Fort Worth and he was directly to the General’s office carrying meat wrapper paper packages, which held the debris. Johnson told me he worked for Fort Worth Star Telegram and was assigned on the afternoon of July 8, 1947, to take photos of General Ramey and two other officers in the general’s 8th Air Force HQ offices. Bond told me, “He was ushered into the General’s office and the debris was still wrapped, so he helped unwrap the debris and displayed it so photos could be taken.
    Both Johnson and Marcel felt the debris material was unusual and smelled like it had been burned in a crash. The general was away from his office but expected to return shortly. Johnson first assisted with the debris unpacking and then “posed” Marcel with what later was described by the major as some of the “less impressive pieces” of the wreckage. When General Ramey returned to his office holding a piece of paper, Johnson photographed him alone examining the pieces of wreckage and then Colonel Thomas J. DuBose joined him in other shots. Johnson felt he photographed very unusual debris, which was not a weather balloon since they do not burn when landing.
    In 1998, after my call to Johnson obtained copies of the photos and noticed anomalous objects and symbols in the debris. He felt the debris was treated in a very special way, indicating it was unlikely to be a simple weather balloon. Johnson contacted two members of the MUFON Orange County to show them his findings. He formed the Roswell Photo Interpretation Team (RPIT) to study the photographs with the new computer technology.

    RPIT members included Ronald Regehr, Marilyn Ruben, Neil Morris of the UK (photo above) Dave Rudiac, and others who feel the debris is not a Mogul balloon or its radar reflector.
    Obviously, it is difficult to determine the exact identity of the debris, but it does not appear to be any known standard aviation type wreckage. The beams seem to have writing or symbols similar to symbols found on Mars. Last week multiple Ys were found on Mars
    The message in General Ramey’s hand confirms that a disc crashed with victims. Further the debris wreckage was being shipped to Fort Worth.

    Reporter James Bond Johnson photographs provide the sole photo coverage of what has proved to be the “Story of the Century!” The wreckage has not been seen in over fifty years. The RPIT initial discoveries also included the debris had foil like material that is covered by organized symbols or glyphs such as would be utilized in writings similar to ancient Egyptian glyphs. The beams have very prominent organized symbols or glyphs embossed in bas-relief, appear to be hollow, and fabricated from some type of possibly ceramic material, but NOT balsa wood as used in a Mogul train! We send our condolences to his family and friends.
    The Air Force took flying discs seriously in the 1940s and realized that unknown aircraft demonstrating such superior performance constituted a threat to national security.

    General Exon Confirmed the Alien Crash

    I called Brigadier General Arthur E. Exon several times concerning the Roswell crash before he died in 2005. General Exon was very reachable and friendly. I identified myself as a retired intelligence officer and flyer and President of an Air Force Association Chapter that was interested the alleged Roswell crash. He told me he had been the Commander of Wright Patterson Air Force Base and knew quite a bit about Roswell. Exon was very specific that everybody “from Truman on down” had known about the Roswell incident from the day it happened, and that It was known to be an alien spacecraft almost as soon as we got on the scene.” Truman ordered everything about UFOs, the crashes, and aliens was highly classified.
    Don Schmidt gave me a copy of his and Tom Carey’s excellent book “Witness To Roswell.” I was particularly interested in their interview with General Exon. This is the book’s version of their interview, which is essentially the same information he told me.
    General Exon, as a lieutenant colonel, was assigned to Wright Field in July of 1947, and was there when the wreckage from the Roswell crash came in. He was aware of the recovery in New Mexico and some colleagues performed the tests on the metal, trying to determine what it was. In July 1947, he learned from other colleagues that the bodies had arrived on the base. All described to us what happened after; the flight reached the Foreign Technology Division (FTD).
    Exon, then a lieutenant colonel, was an administration student in technology at the FTD. “We heard the material was coming to Wright Field,” he said. Analysis of the debris was performed in the FTD’s various labs: “Everything from chemical analysis, stress tests, compression tests, flexing. It was brought into our material-evaluation lab. I don’t know how it arrived, but the boys who tested it said it was very unusual.” Exon also described the material: “Some of it was very thin but awfully strong and couldn’t be dented with heavy hammers….It was flexible to a degree.”
    According to General Exon, “Some of it was flimsy and was tougher than hell, and the [rest] was almost like foil but strong, it had them [the FTD analysts] pretty puzzled.” The lab chiefs at Wright Field set up a “special project” for the testing of the material. “They knew they had something new in their hands,” continued Exon, “the metal and material was unknown to anyone I talked to. Whatever they found, I never heard what the results were.” When asked what he thought about the components’ physical makeup, he said, “…I don’t know, at that time, if it was titanium or some other metal…or if it was something they knew about and the processing was something different.”
    There was another location where … apparently the main body of the spacecraft was … where they did say there were bodies.
    They were all found, apparently, outside the craft itself but were in fairly good condition. In other words, they weren’t broken up a lot”
    General Exon experience with the recovered Roswell remnants wasn’t limited to the work at Wright Field. A number of months later, he flew over central New Mexico near Corona and checked out the crash sites. There were two distinct sites. At the northwest [site], pieces found on the [Foster] ranch, those pieces were mostly metal.” The general also confirmed having seen the gouge that others had reported. Exon said, “I remember auto tracks leading to the pivotal sites and obvious gouges in the terrain.” When asked about the bodies, he said, “I know people that were involved in photographing some of the residue from the New Mexico affair near Roswell. There was another location where…apparently the main body of the spacecraft was…where they did say there were bodies.” Asked if the bodies had been sent to Wright Field, Exon said simply, “That’s my information…people I have known were involved with that.”
    According to Exon, the instant they understood the nature of the find, General Ramey would have alerted the chief of staff, Dwight Eisenhower. Once they had the information in Washington, control of the operation would have come from the Pentagon. The men at Roswell would have been tasked with the clean-up because they were there, on site, but the responsibility for the clean-up would have moved up the chain of command and into the Pentagon and the White House.
    He told me that he thought the craft was heading SE or NW based on the debris field and he mentioned the craft was up against a hill or mountain. In 1948, following completion of a two-year industrial administration course at the Air Force Institute of Technology at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, (W P) Ohio, he was assigned to Air Materiel Command Headquarters, as chief of the Maintenance Data. From 1964-66, he was he commander of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and access to many of the key labs. I get the impression he was continuing to get intelligence data on UFOs from various scientists on base some seventeen years after Roswell.
    He obviously had an interest in UFOs, and as Base Commander he would have access to almost everywhere on base including where the actual craft debris was being stored, He said other UFO-related field operations were staged at W-P during his tenure. Teams of men would fly in from Washington on an investigation. W-P would supply them with planes and crews for their operations
    He was assigned to Air Materiel Command Headquarters, as chief of the Maintenance Data Section from August 1951 until April 1952. Exon did emphasize that he was told these things by men who were directly involved and whom he knew well and trusted. He mentioned knowing some of the photographers who photographed the sites.
    He was a pilot with 135 combat missions during World War II and his aircraft was severely damaged by an exploding ammunition dump and he was forced to bail out over enemy territory. Captured, he spent just over a year in German prisoner of war camps. On August 20, 1965, he was promoted to brigadier general. General Exon had a most impressive military career and it is doubtful he would lie about Roswell.
    Both Roswell commander Colonel Blanchard’s and General Ramey’s wife were aware that the crash was likely extraterrestrial. Exon elaborated, “I know that at the time the sightings happened, it was [up] to Gen. Ramey…and he, along with the people at Roswell, decided to change the story while they got their act together and got the information into the Pentagon and into the president.”
    Note: Foreign Technology Division (FTD) was initially called T-2 Intelligence not FTD in 1947. FTD didn’t come about until 1961. It was T2 Intelligence up until May 1951 when it became Air Technical Intelligence Center (ATIC) as a field activity of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Intelligence. Thanks to General Exon Website

    Sightings in the United States

    Arizona Orbs

    Phoenix— I was in my backyard and scaned the sky on April 17, 2016, and seen a star like hovering object. I got my 50x camera and when I got back it was gone started scanning the sky and found it over 1 mile to the left.
    I was able to track it as it moved all over the sky form right to left. I lost the unknown object as it became too far and high in the sky.

    California Lights

    South Gate — Amazing live capture of a perfectly spherical orb was made on April 17, 2016. This is not a balloon because it did not have the typical characteristics of a balloon.
    It was not oblong, it did not have a drip point on top nor a necktie on the bottom. It stayed stationary in the sky for about 8 minutes and then moved slowly away.
    Apparently, it didn’t realize I had a telescope which captured this object at 156X optical. There were about 15 people witnessing this object at our UFO Sighting event. The video is amazing. Thanks to MUFON CMS

    Aurora– Arriving home I saw a plane or drone (not positive which) and a blue light that looked like a star but was too low in the sky and was moving in April 2016.
    The blue light stopped and changed into a donut shaped disc and stayed still. However, it looked like it was vibrating. The plane/drone changed directions.
    I pulled into a parking lot and took some videos. In the last video, I look down and when I look back, it is gone. Thanks to MUFON CMS
    Edinburg — Visitors were seen on April 14, 2016. This picture was taken this evening at 1:17 am. It’s just hard to believe that people around here don’t even notice the different objects in the sky.

    I was outside watching the sky, like always watching the sky and on April 19, 2016. The first object was just a ball of red hue. The second object was going in and out of the dark cloud.
    I felt amazed and stunned like am I really seeing this and what could it be. The objects went out of view. Thanks to MUFON CMS

    Bronx – On April 12, 2016, I took the video in the Bronx at 8:27 AM, and then played it back in milliseconds catching several different shapes. They appear in the sky then vanish.
    A circular object appeared a few times and then and it would vanish. There were other strange shaped craft. I decided to record the video in the rain, and play it back really slow and see if I could catch anything.

    North Carolina Triangle

    Between Faison and Warsaw – I saw two flying objects in the sky on April 14, 2016. [Object 1] appeared to be a helicopter.
    – [Object 2] was close behind it and had brighter lights and a noticeable blinking light like a normal plane.

    •As I got closer I noticed Object 1 didn’t have a blinking light like most aircraft do and had a red light on top where I thought was the tail of the helicopter.
    I presumed it to be military as there are not any commercial airports nearby for it to be so low to the ground. It got closer and appeared to be triangular. From underneath, it had a bright light at its frontal point and two dimmer lights at the rear points. All three lights were much dimmer than Object 2. The red light was no longer visible, possibly being located on the top of the aircraft.
    Both Objects were of similar size and I lost sight of them as they passed very low to the ground.

    I realized one was following the other and Ft Bragg Army Base (which has an airfield) was relatively close. Thanks to MUFON CMS

    Sutherlin — I pulled into the local dog park so I could stop and take pictures of the many chemtrails that were being laid out that morning of April 1, 2016.
    One had spread out to cover the sun.
    I was taking a panoramic photo and when I looked at the photos and saw an orb shaped object close to the sun. I did not notice it at the time I later used my touch screen to zoom in on it and saw the interesting surface pattern.

    Murfreesboro — The men in black are watching me. They keep hassling me about people, celebrities, technology. Music, ufos and history.
    I’m running out of options. I need assistance as soon as possible. It’s an emergency, they threaten my life and my freedom. You guys are my only hope. They keep revealing things about UFOs, and aliens.
    Shadow beings and paranormal things they used electromagnetic energy on me. They cast images on my door, wall and the TV.
