This news was published last month, but with the COVID-19 pandemic has not received much attention.

Roger Glassel has been following the AATUP story and has been successful in prying some information about it from the Pentagon. Recently he began examining what role MUFON had as a subcontractor to Robert Bigelow's company and just what of their data was used in reports to the Pentagon. That resulted in two articles:

Since then, Keith Basterfield has a follow on piece written with the help of Marc Cecotti on some other BAASS projects:

"There have long been rumours that employees of Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies visited Brazil, during the time of the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program (AAWSAP) contract. The two of us decided it was time to try and track down more definitive information about this alleged claim."

They also managed to get comments from Hal Puthoff and Kit Green on what they know about Bigelow's foray into the notorious 1977 Colares case.

Since we now know that Bigelow's activity was the bulk of the AATIP project, we can focus on what happened on those years, how the money was spent and what was actually produced. The mainstream news coverage of this has been superficial, so it's up to ufology to get to the bottom of things.
