UFO Crash in Brazil May 2020?

There are, at present unconfirmed reports, of an unidentified object crashing in Brazil on 13 May 2020.

At this stage, it could of course be anything, even a large drone used by drug smugglers, as some reports claim.

Smithsonian Magazine has a report of a 20 ton Chinese rocket that crashed into the Atlantic. Could it be the same thing?

It was very late in the small village of Magé, just outside of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Tuesday night, when residents noticed a number of "bus-sized" objects flying in formation, and at “random speeds” in the skies above their town.

That was my first thought too.
But from what I've read, the Chinese Rocket debris came down on May 5th, over a week before this reported sighting on May 13th.
And it was reported to have impacted on the Ivory Coast of West Africa, nowhere near Brazil.

An email has just been mailed out by A. J. Gevaerd, editor of the Brazilian UFO Magazine, unfortunately this is a massive hoax.
The video is fake he couldn't find anything that backed up the stories being circulated. The police never arrested anyone, some of videos aren't even from the area, the military aren't shooting down drones, they haven't arrested anyone etc etc none of it checked out.

Not sure how deep this rabbit hole goes. There are no doubt hoaxed videos about this incident, disinformation as well as misidentified objects possibly.

Anyway here is more reporting on the Brazilian UFO event . . . very wild reports . . . from a well known researcher.

My team and I have intensively investigated this alleged case and found out that it is a TOTAL HOAX. It started with a fake audio about a supposed UFO crash published over the net, later assumed to be a fabrication by the author, a lady.

And then the story got bigger and bigger every day, with many alleged witnesses making all sorts of claims, all disconnected from each other, all exaggerated, all crazy stuff and a lot of lies. Some people even said things like they were “hearing” telepathically request for help from aliens inside the alleged object crashed, or that there were children in the alleged object crashed crying for help, or that the aliens onboard the alleged object crashed are predatory and eat human meet. All fabrications an exaggeration, as anyone can see.
