    Trump Super Weapon

Washington Post Article on Woodward new book

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/polit...3d4_story.html

...In the midst of reflecting upon how close the United States had come in 2017 to war with North Korea, Trump revealed: “I have built a nuclear — a weapons system that nobody’s ever had in this country before. We have stuff that you haven’t even seen or heard about. We have stuff that Putin and Xi have never heard about before. There’s nobody — what we have is incredible.”
Woodward writes that anonymous people later confirmed that the U.S. military had a secret new weapons system, but they would not provide details, and that the sources were surprised Trump had disclosed it....

Anyone else read the story earlier in the year which mentioned he flew a Ufo or TR3-B in front of Kim’s window to scare him into submission?

It was Mike Turber on Chris Breslo's Hidden Truth Show who claimed to have flown on a Tic Tac, and that it was US Tech - Nov 2019.
And that Trump got them to buzz the North Korean leader with one to scare him

    Episode Info

We reveal perhaps the greatest scientific discovery in human history which, up until now, has been kept secret. Former US Air Force Intelligence Specialist Mike Turber discloses that the “Tic Tac” shaped UFO’s recently shown in videos released by the US Navy are in fact US Aircraft able to fly at speeds at least 10 times faster than anything achieved before because they have learned how to defeat gravity. Turber hints he has actually flown in one, and states Trump flew one to North Korea to impress Kim Jong-un!

Strikes me as odd that Mr Tuber has failed to produce any documentation for his service in the US Military.
His knowledge that AFP 42 exists (if that is even the facility name) isn't exactly earth shaking, not like SKUNK WORKS is an unknown organization.
... Unfortunately, Turber has not shared any official documents confirming his Air Force career and work with different military contractors. This is puzzling since other former USAF personnel and corporate employees, such as Edgar Fouche, have publicly released such documentation when they have come forward to reveal their insider knowledge of the TR-3B and Aurora Project without suffering any repercussions. <snip>
Sure be nice if there were some corroboration to his spectacular "secret space program" claims, beyond conspiracy theories.
I did find it encouraging that he did not just jump right to Alien Tech, instead attributing Tic-Tac craft (he calls HAUC) to human ingenuity.

If you look at the source, mainly the Washington Post, which took a big fall to the left. Anything or almost anything that comes out of this rag is nothing but fake news .
Woodward , who is connected to the Washington Post is also a big time hack. You are reading fake news if you refer to the Washington Post.

I'm surprised that you fall for the 'everything in the press' is fake news shtik Atmjjc ?
It's a crass reductionist meme. It's patently false if you think about it for 5 secs. It's daft to write off the work hundreds if not thousands of journalists because they are not right wing enough. Fine they may not share your core beliefs and have a political bias but it doesn't make them factually inaccurate.
Woodward IMO is a fine journalist and much of his book comes from multiple interviews he's had with the Donald. Trump's vanity must have got the better of him it was never going to be a pretty outcome.

I thought Tuber was highly dubious as he's going against virtually all the experts. But it's odd that a very similar story has appeared from a more convincing source.

I'm sure we can agree that all MSM has bias/limitations/agendas. No need to single out specific entities.
I believe we have a "fake news" thread on the Forum already, rehashing/cross posting is discouraged.
    Stay on topic.
If you wish to pursue, find the appropriate thread and continue the debate on just who (in your opinion) is the worst of the egregious manglers of "The Truth".

Pentagon reveals some details of Trump's 'super duper' hypersonic missile

By Ryan Browne and Barbara Starr, CNN
Updated 3:37 PM ET, Thu July 16, 2020

Defense officials have revealed to CNN details about the hypersonic missile President Donald Trump has long touted as a "super duper" new military weapon -- part of a major effort to catch up to Russian and Chinese hypersonic weapons programs.

Pentagon officials acknowledged for the first time some of the capabilities of the hypersonic missile, which Trump has described as traveling 17 times the speed of sound.
A senior defense official has told CNN that Trump has taken a special interest in the missile, revealing that Trump's oft-cited "17 times" faster figure derives from a test of a "hypersonic glide body" over the Pacific in March, a test that the Pentagon officially described as "successful" while revealing little additional information.

    Or This One . . .

Trump, Unveiling Space Force Flag, Touts What He Calls New 'Super-Duper Missile'

President Trump held an Oval Office ceremony Friday to sign the 2020 Armed Forces Day Proclamation and unveil the official flag of the Space Force, the newest military branch.
Standing alongside senior leaders of the military, Trump called the unfurling a "very special moment."
"We've worked very hard on this and it's so important from a defensive standpoint, from an offensive standpoint, from every standpoint there is," Trump said.

Trump teased what he called a new weapon that could attack at such a high speed it would overwhelm an enemy's defenses.
"We have, I call it the 'super-duper missile.' And I heard the other night [it's] 17 times faster than what they have right now," Trump said.

It wasn't immediately clear what missile the president was describing, but the U.S. and other advanced powers are known to be developing new hypersonic weapons, designed to race at many times the speed of sound.

Beyond the "super-duper missiles", I'm still trying to figure out his claims to a "secret new nuclear weapon system".

Trump remark about secret new nuclear weapon leaves experts scratching heads.
    by: AP News

.... Some think Trump may have been talking about a nuclear warhead that was modified to reduce its explosive power. —

Weapons experts are puzzling over Trump’s words. Some think he may have been talking about a nuclear warhead that was modified to reduce its explosive power. Known as the W76-2, this weapon certainly is unknown to the general public — not because of secrecy or mystery but because of its obscurity.
    <snip>
....James Acton, a nuclear expert at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, said in an interview Friday that Trump may have been referring to the W76-2 warhead. Although its existence was not a secret, the timing of its first deployment was. The warhead is on the business end of a Trident II D-5 missile carried aboard Navy ballistic missile submarines....
