    Whistleblower Peer Review

Tell us what you think about your favorite whistleblowers?

    Are they:
    Telling the truth?
    Disinformation agents?
    Simply delusional attention seekers?

    Jesse Marcel?
    Dan Burish?
    Col. Phillip Corso?

Col. Phillip Corso - author of "The Day After Roswell"
Kevlar, night vision, Integrated circuits (IC), lasers, brain/flight control interface.
Were these reversed engineered from Roswell UFO crash artifacts as Col Corso claimed in the book published shortly before his death?

Calkid, what are your own insights about the veracity of Corso's claims in what you are referring to in your above post. Also, why did you leave out fiber optics which he claims was also an artifact from Roswell that was reversed engineered?

The Hon Paul Hellyer, the former Canadian Minister for National Defense was so impressed by Corso's book, after doing his own vetting of Corso by contacting a retired Air Force General who said that Corso is telling the truth, he changed from a UFO skeptic into an ardent believer. I find that very interesting.

Backed by documents newly declassified through the Freedom of Information Act, Colonel Philip J. Corso (Ret.), a member of President Eisenhower’s National Security Council and former head of the Foreign Technology Desk in the US Army, has come forward to reveal his personal stewardship of alien artifacts from the Roswell crash. He tells us how he spearheaded the Army’s reverse-engineering project that led to today’s integrated circuit chips, fiber optics, lasers, and super-tenacity fibers, and “seeded” the Roswell alien technology to giants of American industry. Laying bare the US government’s shocking role in the Roswell incident—what was found, the cover-up, and how they used alien artifacts to change the course of twentieth-century history—The Day After Roswell is an extraordinary memoir that not only forces us to reconsider the past, but also our role in the universe.

If you've ever wondered what crashed into the desert near Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947, this book will give you some startling answers. While the first version was published in hardcover in 1997, Corso provides new evidence for the presence of alien intruders in this pocket paperback edition. Whether or not you believe his contention, the sheer weight of governmental sources and documentation presented by the former Army intelligence officer is not easily dismissed. Once you understand the historical context (in the midst of the Cold War soon after World War II, with Orson Welles having recently inspired panic in citizens with his fictional War of the Worlds radio broadcast), the military deciding to cover up a real-life alien ship becomes more credible. Corso also gives a convincing explanation of why reports were so multi-various and conflicting. Even if you believe the book is utter fiction, it's still a compelling read.

I remember seeing a 'documentary' that was produced to debunk Corso. They (tried) to pull out "all the stops" on this one interviewing several engineers from Bell Labs, DuPont, et al. The engineers feigned outrage at Corso's claims about the supposed extraterrestrial origins of their inventions.

Specifically, the woman who worked at DuPont who's relative was on active duty allegedly invented Kevlar in an effort to protect US Military personnel was referred to by name...engineers from Bell Labs that were interviewed openly scoffed at Corso's claims saying that their multi-year efforts invented fiber optics after much trial and error.

The (supposed) inventor of Velcro (another of Corso's "seeded" technologies) claimed that he came up with the idea for Velcro after walking his dog through a grassy field where his dog's fur became imbedded with burrs.

I was quite surprised that such an effort was made to discredit Corso. IMO, it potentially had the opposite affect as it seemed a contrived effort at (potential) damage control.

Just goes to show that the closer to the truth the whistleblower is sharing, the harder 'they' attack him. Happens every time and it's definitely the case with Corso too.
