Atmjjc, a number of people continued suggesting this film.

Agreed, worth watching... Thought it well written and directed. Good casting.

Without going into spoilers, I thought a few elements were underdevloped.
IMHO, the "church" element could have been explored/expanded. As it was, could have almost been left out entirely without changing the story.
The Government representative was a key figure, but played something like a lone wolf. IMHO his character would of had more impact if he'd been portrayed as having more resources (minions?) at his disposal. Far as I saw, all he had was access and some intel.
Besides those minor problems, a good story.
More of missed opportunity than fatal flaws.

Showing on History Channel this week.
It was nice to see the segment featuring Leonard Nimoy in his last interview.
Although mentioned, Kirk/Shatner & Sulu/Takei interviews were conspicuously missing.

From the ads, looks like they are taking the POV that abduction is real, and people who don't believe are foolish.
I'm glad it did not go the other way.
Should be fun, just hoping it will remain respectful of abductees.
