This one is simple on the outside and complex on the inside. I took me two viewings and a bit more to get all of what is going on here. It is worth it. It leaves you wondering about a few things, too, which is often a good thing...
"In 1984, a new restoration and edit of the film was made by Giorgio Moroder, a music producer who specialized in pop-rock & synth soundtracks for motion pictures. Moroder's version of the film introduced a new contemporary pop/synth music soundtrack for the film. Although it restored a number of previously missing scenes and plot details from the original release (in particular, Moroder's version restores the character of Hel, who was omitted from the original release version of the film due to problems with American censors), his version of the film runs to only 80 minutes in length, although this is mainly due to the original intertitles being replaced with subtitles, and being run at 24 frame/s. The "Moroder version" of Metropolis sparked heated debate among film buffs and fans, with outspoken critics and supporters of the film falling into equal camps."

I had a copy of this and somehow lost it. I would greatly appreciate anyone that has information about where I can get my hands on this again.
Never mind, I found it and ordered it. See what you started, Calikid?
This isn't poetry, this is the language of reality.
Blade Runner is running on AMC HD. It will run again immediately.
Awesome, I'm there!
Also, they are showing a Walking Dead marathon tomorrow and Sunday.

Might be best 2 discuss more after the marathon and premier 2 avoid spoilers.

progress. -- Joseph Joubert

Hey, I'm not sure the Walking Dead is back on over here just yet...! I've been waiting for it to start up again.
Looks like I'll have to avoid this thread until I've seen it.
