I was fascinated by the ‘Chauvet’ cave paintings in France mostly because of the care it was given. I am surprised the El Castillo cave paintings in Spain are claiming bragging rights so soon since they are using a more refined dating process and was dated by the radioactive decay of uranium, a method called uranium-series disequilibrium, instead of radiocarbon dating. Nevertheless that many years back kind of throws a monkey wrench into the works of academia which I have no belief in their theories of evolution.

With this new dating method I will not be taken back if the bragging rights will be going back and forth amongst the cave paintings around the world.
