Thread: What happened to the "Edit" button?

What happened to the "Edit" button?

I was going to edit a post I made this morning and I see no edit button. Sometimes I find a mistake and need to do an edit. Many times I just like to add more content without creating a new post.

Maybe I've overlooked it. If so can someone point me in the right direction?.........(Thank You)

OK I see it in this thread but not this mornings thread. Is there some kind of time limit for editing a post?

I think there is short time frame after the post to edit it.

So far the edit limit is set to 30 minutes after the post is committed.

P.S. Good to see you around ScaRz

Thanks for the info Casper and Fore.

I guess I will need to read over everything before I hit the post button. I can understand The Admins are protecting the content from someone who might get ticked off and start removing everything from their post.

I however like the option to edit a post for several reasons. One being if you're posting links for a series......."Like those by Tom Horn." I certainly don't want to create a new reply every time Tom/Or Others add a new Part to their series. Just going back and editing the post and adding a new link is so much cleaner, and keeps it all together.

P.S. Great to hear from you Fore.
