As of 10/02/2017, Tom Petty is still alive and clinging to life... Every major media source falsely reported his passing... I feel horrid for posting his birth-date and passing in music thread...

Turns out Casper, you were only a few hours off. Petty passed the same day, after a short stay in the hospital.
Heart attack About 1030am at home, then passed @840pm in hospital, Cali time on 10/2/2017.
A blessing that friends and family were able to see him one last time.
    RIP Tom Petty.

Suggestion for males here who are in your mid and late fifties and sixties: take a low dose aspirin every morning and if your b.p. is even the least bit above normal, get on a b.p. med. and a diuretic and take as prescribed every day. As for your diet: Eat only lean meat, fish and veggies. Do not smoke (anything) and only drink alcohol in low moderation, preferably red wine. If overweight, try to lose at least 20 lbs. If you can make it through your sixties, you're more likely to live on into your seventies and eighties.

Oh, and one other thing... do NOT stress. Take up meditation and do that twice a day for 10 minutes each session.
Powerwalk for at least a half hour every day but avoid walking in extreme weather conditions.

A99, What has this got to do with music? This is completely off topic for this thread. Try and confine your posts to the proper thread.

Sorry. Worry about people here sometimes. Tom Petty, another great one to bite the dust before his time.
