"Capt. Robert McDonald alleges that his ship had an encounter with a USO that levitated his ship out of the water 5 feet, burning the hull below the waterline and wrecking his replica Viking ship made of millions of children's lollypop sticks. The viking ship was full size and is an operational replica build from one inch planks made of lollypop sticks and was part of his publicity operation on behalf of the plight of children all over the world. The sticks were laid in molds and glued together in planks from which the ship was constructed.
Robert alleges that a USO paced his ship while sailing at a high speed on its initial voyage coming up underneath, breaking off the rudder and mast, putting the whole crew at risk. According to authorities his ship and a nearby cargo ship disappeared from radar for a unexplained 4 hours of missing time. Later Robert claims having implants removed from his neck and lung."

Ed Komarek is investigating this story. He has found some confirmation that Captain McDonald is who he says he is and that the Viking ship is real. He is looking for any other news accounts of the USO encounter--especially anything from an Amsterdam, Netherlands newspaper that mentions the USO encounter claim. Anyone who likes to look for things online might want to have a try at finding something that either corroborates or debunks it. Please post anything you find here.

"He calls the ship Mjollnir. That's Norse for Hammer of Thor. It's as long as an 18-wheeler, with a Viking dragon snarling from the prow, and Robert McDonald wants to sail it from the Netherlands to the Florida Keys.
Viking ships have crossed the Atlantic before. But the Mjollnir is made of Popsicle sticks. Fifteen million Popsicle sticks, some of them used and steam-cleaned, the white-birch bones of frosty treats devoured by children around the world.
McDonald is a professional daredevil from Jacksonville's Southside, and he has pulled enough stunts in his 46 years -- free-climbing the Grand Canyon, for example -- to earn a place alongside Jackie Chan and John Wayne in the Hollywood Stuntmen's Hall of Fame."

I won't be traveling to Norway to lecture, fallout from the Robert McDonald case, which I now believe is at least in part storytelling to promote a foundation with no legal basis. I have deleted the blog post on Robert McDonald from my blog, as I have done with other cases like the Source A affair. Anybody wishing to investigate further can contact me or Jeff Grunow in private as Jeff tells me h...e was reported to Facebook for being critical of Robert. Jeff told me that he had a FBI background check done and that the Sea Heart Foundation had no legal basis and this was confirmed to me personally by Robert in a private email. Robert's reasoning was that the paperwork was too much to contend with. It's not my job to be the cop on the UFO beat, so I leave it to others to investigate this case further. Time to move on."
A new report from Ed Komarek on the continuing fallout from the Viking Ship Case:
"Lets consider the facts here.
Fact 1. Jeff Grunow claimed a background check was done with the FBI
and they had a file on him and that Jeff could find no legal basis for
the foundation. That there was no legal basis, was confirmed by
Robert McDonald himself to me via Facebook message.
Fact 2. The FBI file has yet to be confirmed. So what we have here
is a case in which tens of thousands of dollars or the equivlent at
least, have been solicited and donated to Robert McDonald and his "Sea
Heart Foundation" over many years by both individual and corporate
donors, a "foundation" admited to have no legal basis. A "foundation
with no legal President, Chairman, Board of Directors, no paper trail
and no way to establish how much of the funds donated go directly to
the children and how much for administrative expenses. Robert claims
all monies go to the children. Robert has gotten plenty of press
attention promoting his "foundation" over the years as can be seen by
internet searches.
Fact 3. Fantastic paranormal claims are being made on a regular basis
and claims of continous harrasment by the MIB all being used to
promote this "Sea Heart Foundation" on Facebook. Promises to Jeff
Grunow to meet out in the desert, but Robert never showed up twice.
Claims of fantastic paranormal phenomena with pictures being taken in
real time out in the ocean to Jeff and promises to transmit the
evidence to Jeff, but no follow through, leading Jeff to claim a
friend ran a FBI check and the FBI admitted there was a file and that
Robert was bad news and should be avoided but had not risen to a level
they could do something about. Jeff sent me a confidential file of
messages back and forth between he Robert and another fella leading up
to the background check.
Fact 4. Claim by Jeff that Robert reported him to Facebook for making
critical comments on Facebook. Claim by Robert to the promoters of
the Norway Conference that I had released confidential informaiton to
the public. I assume Robert ment the letter from his surgeon
discribing the removal of two implants from Roberts body that Robert
had posted to his Facebook group with the comments "just in time" but
later seems to have been deleted, only after I started checking into
the validity of the letter in the Netherlands.
Fact 5. I made a verbal agreement to lecture at the Norway conference
with Terje's girlfriend Ann with no conditions established and a
ticket was purchased by Ann for me to lecture at the conference. I
had discovered Robert and his claims on facebook and relayed them to
Terje and Ann and when Terje go interested, I ran down Robert on
Facebook and got contact information and passed this on to Terje
suggesting that maybe he could get Robert to lecture cheap as he was
located in Amsterdam. I certainly did not think that this untested
case would be elevated to featured speaker at the conference later.
Prior to Roberts acceptance to speak I had already begun an
investiation into Roberts claims and started a blog article that I
updated with the doctor letter and Jeffs critical comments. Ann asked
that I stop investigating Robert both in public and private and I
complied to keep the peace. Later Terje demanded that as a condition
to speak at the conference that I remove Jeff's critical comments from
my blog article. I decided to just delete the whole blog article as
by now I had lost all confidence in this case. Still this was
obviously not enough and Terjie made it very clear in his email to me
that I was not welcome to come to Norway, and I susequently told Ann
by Facebook that I was not coming. They had said that the ticket was
covered by insurance.
Fact 4. Being that my lecture has been cancelled, I am no longer
under any obligation to suppress my investigations, but I have elected
to just drop this case until Terje contacted Dirk demanding that he
remove Jeff's critical comments from my article at UFO Digest and
suggesting that I was guilty of publishing false material against
Robert and that I and Jeff were guilty of liable. Of course this
failure by Terje to just drop it, and instead make more waves and even
suggesting liable to one of my publishers without consultation with
me, has certainly motivated me to stay involved in the case! Robert
and his proxies certainly seem to be good at removing critical
comments from the Internet in regards to Robert and the "Sea Heart
Foundation" even to the point of searching the net for articles
published by others to remove Jeffs critical comments.

I get the impression that there's some shystering going on. I'm puzzled at how anything this guy has to say about UFOs is any better than what others say. See, I'm at the point that I know that I have seen weird objects in the sky, but I can't say the same for some of these others; there have always been story tellers, I guess there always will be.

Robert McDonald – USO/ Viking ship.
After spending 6 days in Bergen, Norway (May 2012) in the company of Robert McDonald,
(4 days at a remote mountain farm + 2 days at the venue)
I feel it is my obligation to tell the public about Robert McDonald´s many claims.
All claims I am writing about, has been heard by multiple witnesses or are written statements from Robert McDonald.
Before the 3 day UFO conference started, Robert was saying that Dan Aykroyd would be coming to the conference in Bergen, which he did not do.
Robert said that Discovery channel and National Geographic channel were coming to the conference, which they did not do.
Robert told the organizers of the Bergen conference, that there were 77 mails on his facebook page from people wanting to come to the conference, but when they asked him to forward these, they got none.
(Tejre Wulfsberg and Ann-Kristin Normann, has given me permission to release this information).
On blogtalk radio on April the 10.th (http://10.th/) 2012 http://www.blogtalkradio.com/kdclmedia/2012/04/10/turn-the-page--capt-rob-mcdonald (http://www.blogtalkradio.com/kdclmedia/2012/04/10/turn-the-page--capt-rob-mcdonald) he claims that 10 USOs are on the ports of major cities in the Baltic, whereas at the conference he claimed that they all were on leylines. Robert said that these lines were found on a normal globe of the world, which obviously is not correct. (Many other odd claims are made in this radio program).
To my surprise Robert said that Richard Dolan would be stopping by the conference. I am the organizer of Richard´s trip to scandinavia in sept. 2012, and was 99,9% sure that Richard would not be in Europe at this time. I have spoken with Richard Dolan about this and Richard has no memory of talking about the Bergen conference, nor saying that he might stop by. Richard has shortly spoken to Robert about his USO case.

Captain Robert McDonald, that claimed his Viking Replica Ship had an encounter with a USO (underwater UFO) and literally sailed into UFO history, and made him famous on that account, attended a UFO conference in Bergen, Norway May 2012, where one of my friends, Pia Knudsen from Exopolitics Denmark (http://www.exopolitics.dk/) also attended together with UK police detective Gary Heseltine among others. What these good people did not expect was, that Capt. Robert McDonald, already before the conference was started, began with a flood of false claims about nearly everything he could come up with.
