Chris, I can try and do an e-pub conversion for you and e-mail you the file.

Early e-readers limited people to Amazon or Barnes & Noble for buying and ensured customers kept returning to buy books. Other e-readers are coming out that allow downloading of nook (epub) and Kindle software, so customers are not limited to one online bookstore.

As the early e-readers wear-out, when people look for replacements those newer e-readers will pick-up more sales.

I have done epub conversions last year for Perceptional Threshold. Then, I did the Kindle Select Program for authors at Amazon. Give Amazon 90-day exclusives and they allow the author 5-day promo giveaways within those 90-days.

For an Indie author that is a nice feature when competing against the Big-Six Publishing Houses. The Big-Six are not pleased with Amazon’s support of Indies; there was complaining. Major publishers have since made adjustments.

When I did the giveaway for Perceptional Threshold, ran against a number of Star War books and beat out several of them on the free list. Major Publishers ended their complaints that Indies were underpricing them.

For now, doing the Amazon 90-day Kindle Select is a good move for me. Amazon supported Indies when the Big Six drew their guns and took aim. There is a sense of loyalty, so for now will continue with their Select program then move the e-books to other online stores.

The print version for Ages Past will be out early October 2012. I do not have much control over pricing. I will set the price as low as the printer allows.
