The Space Shuttle Endeavour was on it's way to the west coast and stopped Wednesday in Houston. At about 9:12 in the video the Space Shuttle was overflying the Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX and it appears that the T-38 chase plane nearly had a midair collision with the right wing of the 747. The T-38 clearly does an avoidance maneuver, but how close were they? Clearly they were way too close. The 747 is a "heavy" and turbulence off the wing could easily upset the much smaller T-38.
